Well I finally did it and can say I have walked the walk. What an amazing experience, nothing really ever prepares you does it. I take my hat off to those who can walk out there and look calm, I was shaking like a leaf the whole time, but will be back one day, bigger and better, thats me in the middle

Thanks heaps for all the support and kind words. I finished second which I was really thrilled with, Bridget, the blondie placed first and she looked great, she was a nice chick also which was cool.

Me and my beloved went for a hill walk this morning and stopped at the Cup on Cashmere Hill and I enjoyed pancakes, banana, bacon and maple syrup, but back to being good tommorrow, dont want to throw away all the hard work, and I was surprised that after looking forward to so many treats, I almost craved the routine of the diet today, so this sport is addictive in many ways.

As yes the wobble in the heels is certainly something off fear factor, just goes to show that baking cakes in the heels and wearing them as much as possible does not help the nerve factor at the crucial moment

Just out of interest, how was the rest of the show? Many competitors? The Welly show was fairly light on numbers of competitors (@ 26??).

You are certainly not alone in the shaking legs department, luckily you don't really see it in the DVD :wink:

Yes it was a small show also - 20 competitors, didnt really get to see much of the others on stage as my grade was almost at end so only saw the couples and open boys, they were great as always

i went to that show, sat just behind the judges lol. if u felt nervous and shakey it definitely didnt come across u looked natural and calm and your stage presence was excellent!! great job!

Well done chick - I'm a fan of the pink, probably cause my last one was that colour! All that effort over Christmas and summer really paid off! Hope you had a lot of fun and will continue with the sport.

Thanks Evie, it was your pink one that I fell in love with to start with, absolutely will be doing it again, just support crew for my man for the end of this year, but next year with a bit more size and confidence it will be game on!

Dont think I am quite up to Nationals standard, that pic of the back double bi is actually caught me executing the move so its mid way through finishing if that makes sense. I need some more muscle to be competitive :pray:
