Close Grip Bench Press

1*85kg - second one started veering towards my face so it was spotted

Damnit, really wanted to get the triple. Still felt stronger than last week though.

Pin Presses (pretty much on my chest)

Chest Supported Rows

8*30kg - Gave the 20 a kiss on the first rep, very nearly knocked my teeth out

DB Cleans supersetted with DB Side raises with a shrug at the top

Pulldown Abs

3 sets of 10-12*40kg

Occasionally my foot spacing wasn't even on my bench, think this caused me to push a bit unevenly. I'll have to get someone to check this when I go heavy 'cause I can't see it.

Speed Pulls

The Midnight Move/Dimel Deadlifts (sumo style)

3 sets of 20*100kg

Figured I'd to these sumo style as it is similar to my squat stance.

GHRs

3 sets of 8

Sled Dragging

3 sets of 4 lengths of the gym @ 100kg + change

That got the hips warm

Have included a selection of my speed work, dimels and sled dragging. For my squatting I was concerntrating on keeping my knees out and sitting back. Stupid me I didn't do any side shots, next time I will. OB1 Warobi made a suggestion about foot placement in relation to the bar and it seemed to make the pull smoother.

Damn, nice deads and box squats! Those dimel deads look freaky.. are they like romanians but more explosive? Off to google..

Not quite the same. You only lower it to slightly below your knees by pushing your butt back, then contract the glutes rapidly. The exercise is meant to be done explosively.

Stable on the 50s, not so much on the 55s.

Shoulder stuff

Stuffed around with a few things, but my right shoulder decided to be niggly today, nothing meaningful to record.

DB Curls

10*20lb

2 sets of 10*25lb

Sledge hammer

180 hits with the 8lb'er in 4:25

Pulldown abs

2x12

I'm suprised you trained in the morning still! I usually wait til just before the gym shuts to drag my hungover ass in there! :pfft:

Wasn't hungover just tired...

So I felt a little more energetic this afternoon so I tried some box jumping (at home)

First I did 10 jumps from a 17" chair to a 30" table

Then I did 2 sets of 10 from the 17" chair to a 32" table (put books under the table

Then for some reason I decided to try for height, and jump up to a 48" bench... not the best decision...

The 200 took forever to come off the ground and my back was rounded as. But who cares. Sort of looks like there's a small hitch, but I think it's just the bar getting caught on my pants.
