yes it was lovely to meet you poos (im shure the ppl around me wer like wtf wen u said "im poos N wees" :pfft: )

nope i dnt think i looked good, i have to get leaner!! so i think that comp put me in good stead to really get it spot on for nationals-and no matter what im going to do nationals - only 14weeks away! yay!

at 12weeks out i will start my diet-im planning on seeing maree stubbington (she did my bf's diet last year and he looked great)

well ive had this last week off

trained back on tues; felt weaker and my weights wer a bit funky and on wed OMG had theee worst doms ever! my back was crazy sore!

trained legs on weds; did front squats for the very first time, they were great could really feel them working (even tho i was only doing it with the SM bar :oops: ) woke up on thurs and seriously struggled to move anywhere! i was intensly muscularily and skeletally sore ! moreover i got the flu (HELLA BAD too! stayed home from school yesterday, flopped on the couch could barely move) (its like my bodies like haHa bitch uv been making me suffer so long..now ima make u suffer!!)

and so no training ensued on thurs or friday

ive also managed in the last 7days to eat every kind of junk food known to man. quite litterally. and with that managed to get my weight up to a lovely 58kgs :shifty: SO, pulling the reigns in today (as its the start of the holidays, and 14 week mark until Nationals) and am going to eat clean, and see a nutrionist 12weeks out. im holding a heeapa water still, i look so bloated everywhere esp my face, so with a good diet, hopefully thatl sus itself out, and my starting point for nats will be 58/57kgs which i think is all good! :)

and can b waeee better than how i was at comp jus been.

Saturday July 5th (14weeks)

Exercise:

AM: 1hour cardio (15min run + 45min walk)

12PM: 1xnetball game + warmup (draw 22 all. was sucha tough game we were loosing 17-14 at 3rd quarter time, so stoked that we came back to draw)

Diet:

915AM 2xfatburners

1030AM 1/2cup oats, 1scoop pp

11AM 2xfatburners

150PM 1/2cup oats, 1scoop pp

4PM >? can flavoured tuna

7PM >? 150g chicken & salad

9PM >? pshake

i took the fatburners becoz i was low on energy this AM, but shouldnt really be taking them, just habit really..

am going to encorperate a daily AM run/walk everyday these holidays, and thinking about changing my gym routine. a 4 day split would be nicer (back+bis, legs, chest+tris, shoulders+core) and means i dont have to be so strict on routine, esp as want to get back to netty prak and am starting hiphop soon (my ultimate goal [ive had this idea since i competed last year] {after competeing in nationals this year} is to not compete again until 2010, gain like 5kgs (well, as much as poss) muscle and do the fitness category-which means i have to start qymnastics/aerobic/breaking as well as hiphop.

so to fit all that in a lesser gym routine is probably needed.

so yup. thats me all updated. will prolly post pics soon.

Well done on qualifying for the nattys!! How do your parents feel about that? :wink: Glad you had a good feast after the show, stink that you've been sick though, same thing happened to me after my last show.

And by the way, it's 15 weeks until the NZFBB nationals, so you have another weeks grace :pfft:

Awesome, I looove hiphop dancing.. uhh, thats watching not dancing lol. Next year Ima go to LA for the World Champs! Good luck with it.. it'll definitely add a whole new dimension to your routines in the Fitness category :nod:

yeah being sick suks, and my calves are SOO soore from netty on sat, ive been hobbling around like a cripple doin the whole leaning on the wall anytme i try to walk down stairs

haha i dont know how out of my system it is... :pfft: wel ima stick to jus 2 cheatmeals perweek for the next 3weeks, then start 12week diet, but work on hovering around 57/58kgs before the 12week mark

9PM 1pshake (?)

*my dinner meal i have to eat my "families" dinner from now so il jus try keep it to meat n vege no carbs (they had yumi kumara)

switched up my training now, jus looking at 4day split (back+bis, legs, chest+tris, shoulder+core) twas quite good

So your parents are still against you competing? Is it because its interferring with your school work? Or because they don't like seeing your weight fluctuate so suddenly?

yes very against me competeing. wel not it cant be school work becoz i have the possibility of doing scholarship english (tryna decide if i should do it or not) and all my internals so far have been Es (excellence=A for all you oldies :pfft: )

Meh, the majority of that is water gal :nod: You start your cutting phase soon though, so just be sure that you're on key with the diet when the time comes for it :twisted:

got told off at the gym today by one of the trainers. well not told off as much but advised-its okay tho hes the only trainer i respect as hes actully done a comp and wat he says is actually worth listening too (unlike the bs most of the other "trainers" there preach). he told me (with a flick of his towel) i should take a rest from all my competeing and diet swinging and grow some, because he's right i prolly havent grown as much as i should've.

i also told him bout the ma&paVsNats predicament he jus made the 'breathing in eek' sound and was like "honesty is the best policy"

also my weights have flatlined, after the injury i was goin good guns jus lovn being back n the gym, then w 4weeks out b4 comp weights it got hard-and no gains insued, then being sick after comp i barely trained much 5 w.os in twoweeks+about 10 cardios, so i havta work on gettin the weights up to new levels, break thru this barrier ya ya etc hahaha

Diet:

All good hun, give you lots of time to put on size and concentrate more on your college work.

nah no more has been said from them-even though their stance has not changed. just the more i think about it (and the more talks i have with the knowledgeable gym instructor ie this morning) the more i start to think i really need to get much more muscle before i go on stage again!

on a side note, was watching this show w mum after netty on living channel, dus anyone else know hu kerry ropati is? shes the shit! awesome physique, and runs her own private gym, shes jacked!

and another side note, ima have bloods done to check out my thyroid, hormone levels etc. think theres heightened cortisol in my body which is chucking it off quilter (sp?). not a new thing-got hammared last year by nutritionist whilst dieting for first comp about my stressing out all the time!

This is good news :)

It sounds like you definitely need a rest from the dieting mindset if its causing you too much stress! Especially if you've got alot of other things happening in your life too. :nod:
