Oh cool Flamer, yeah a lot of people load with rice/corn thins, I haven't tried it. Glad you found something that works thats awesome news :grin:

Yeah, I think when you lack experience and someone says "carb load", and especially when in my case your from a triathlon background, you can overdo the "loading". I think last year I just indulged in too much carb, ending up flat. Seems just a little will do it :P

biggurl, which results did u like better from your fat or carb load? as im pretty much certain im carb sensitive (my body reacts badly to carbs) im wondering if I should stick to jus fats, i ate rice cakes and a lil bit almond nut last year + an apple & oats n looked alritey, then for next comps did diff things, but all hav been done with mainly carbs, never fat. how much was your fat intake for the load?

o and im def not having alcohol..dont like it...and dont need it...i can barely walk in the heels sober :P

flamer...im too scared to have a trial load, ima keep my diet up jus 21days now...if i did id have super mind games happening in my head..il probably leave it till that friday nite and decide wat to have- and having said that i prob dont even need anything

il update my journel tonite wen i get home from babysitin (ugh!)

holeymoley im tired tho, feels like someones pulled a plug and my energys just drained away...

The fish from fish & chip shop did it for me a large fillet not just the shark shit. Try it tomorrow night and see what you look like Monday. I still haven't decided on a carb or fat load, think I'm going with the fat as it seems to work better for me, your body is like wo!

nope nope im fine thankyou, jus guna stick to my diet until the time comes, then dry carb with a couple of rice cakes, or a table spoon or two of almondnut butter...as tfb said in an inspriation quote (i searched high and low to find this again haha):

the food will still be there after comp! {...unless ofcourse all the supermarkets, fastfood resturants and mall eateries burn down in suspicious blazes on june 27...jus my luck ... :x}

..anywho its not even the eating/diet that bothers me atm..its the stress from my 'rents. they being melodramatic about my life, and so now i have to do MORE shifts at shitty work b4 comp at the crappy hours...for christs sake. 3 weeks out. i dont need this.

Saturday June 7th

Exercise:

AM: 1hour hi intensity cardio (hK (hardkore) netball game + warmup, we won 20-15 after trailing behind first two quarters. my last game now till after comp)

Are you working for your parents? What hours are you working? It must be carzy hard to balance life in the lead up to a comp. Keep it up hun, you're almost there!

nope, for a radio station; hours will be 9pm-130am like yerr dont seem like much, but wen u eating 1000cals and doing 3hour exercise it OWNS.

You're doing great, still playing netball on such a harsh phase of the diet, it's a miracle...

Mind you, if I was dreaming about a stylish ride on chromies n all, I'd prob get a bit ticked-off as well :evil:

powerade was at my gym tonite giving out free drinks! i was hussled to have a drink, but refused but they gave it to me anyway - its the new orange powerade with "extra protien" [7.6g] haha excellent 19days till i can have it! mmmmm

on another note, i have the bestest friend ever i was complaining in the art room lastweek (as i do :P) that i couldnt find cadbury marble and chocolate mousse And chocolate whip block of chocolate ANYWHERE {not that im looking but i liiiike....i mean mmm marble! yummmmm} anyway she went out in the weekend and FOUND cadbury chocolate mousse and brought me a block! then got it home and found it was expired and got so upset, so took it back and asked to get a non-expired one...turns out they had all expired either jan/april 2008! :( so instead she exchanged it for a big bag of peanut M&MS and gave me $20 to 'sponsor me' for my comp to help me pay for tan/nails/earings/rego etcetera that all creeps up onyour before comp.

so in conclusion:

-great besty

-got More peanut m&ms for treat box

-if anyone knows where you can buy MARBLE / CHOCOLATE MOUSSE / CHOCOLATE WHIP cadbury chocolate let me know... =P~ :pfft:

Yay 300gms under - now im stressing about losing {wat little} muscle {i have}

:pfft: can never win in my mind...hahaha

yeah, thats my last lot of kumara, il have 2 cornthins at lunch tomoro, and then no more carbs apart from 1/3cup oats in the AM

wat do u mean by 9days? like still have my 50G kumara at lunch up until 9 days out?

16 days...hmm seems like no time to an outsider...feels like FOREVER to meee :P

im also considering keeping in my protien powder at breakfast for a bit (prolly 9 days out also) just looking at it from a cost perspective..thoughts?

ah ha i see. wel i got no more 'proper' leg days left, jus some leg ext on monday then 45mins cardio after it.

if i dont take carbs to school, i dont have access to them so i cant really play it by ear and have to tough it out-thats why my diets so gud n strict :P

my new fatburners are fantabulous, giving me soo much energy! and that extra kick i need, so i dont constantly feel like shait.

my dream tan came today, and have final fitting this sunday for costume! Yay!

Also meeting up with a mate next weekend, shes coming round for a catch up and to drop off my bikini bite she borrowed for her last comp. she thinks she mite do the comp too. she hasn't seen me since the elite show, so hope she thinks my progress is good !

Weigh In: 56.4kgs

I know my weigh ins normally not till monday, but i took it today because I want to have a comparison for when I take my final weigh in on friday june 27. weights still steadily dropping so thats good; if i can drop about 1.5-2 more kgs {of fat} then thatl be pleasing.
