Best bet is to go see a dermotologist (sp?) and be open and honest about your usage. Antibiotics will do little in your case, Isotone is the most potent and sucessfull treatment ( I am on it myself ) it can be a little rough on some people as far as sides, dry skin, chapped lips, sore joints. But to treat steroid induced acne you require a much smaller dose than you would to treat normal addolesent acne, 10-20mg a day works well. At this dose I noticed minor dry skin for the first month or so but nothing to worry about. The skin will improve imedatly and continue to improve over time till you have pretty much flawless skin.

IMO its well worth doing Consultation might be around $100-$150 privatly and after that scripts run about $25 for 3 months if I remember correctly.

It is the most common side effect of using gear, if you were prone to acne as a teen then it will likely flare up once you start a cycle. You just have to weigh up the pros and cons like with anything, is it worth it for you?

Its usuly more of an uneven skin tone than full on acne, but you do see those horror storys of "nasty bacne" just dont let it get out of control, no one needs to live with bad acne there are meds that do work but f*ck all that clearisil and proactive crap give me a break. Cost you an arm and a leg to do jack

i had to go to dermatologist when about 16 and he gave me Isotone i think, made my whole face brake out real bad before it came right, worse part was the side effects, every time i smiled my lips wood crack and bleed and not just bleed a little i mean ALOT, I'd only use again as last resort

Yeah like I said at that time you would have needed a large dose to see results, but to combat steroid induced acne you need only a fraction of the amount, you were likley on 40-60mg/day and for this purpose 10-20mg/day max would be used. After the inital month or two on 10mg the dose "can" (if everything is settling down) be reduced to as little as 10mg a week over time which there is no chance of sides from.

You may be required to get bloods done prior to comencing treatment to check liver enzyme and LDL HDL lipids etc as Isotone may alter levels.
