Yeah, don't panic Ed and stay focussed! :D

From the numbers you've posted recently, you have lost about 5.7kg in 4 weeks (1.4kg per week) and assuming you still want to get down to about 83kg, then you'll do that if you maintain a loss of approx 1.2kg per week from here on until April 12.

Every competition prep is a learning process, so consider this all part of your education to make you a better bodybuilder!

Mastertel whats the story in the novice division... is it over 80 all compete against each other or is there a over 90 novice as well? Also if someone wanted to compete in the open would they be allowed to or would they have to still do novice for a year?

2guns are you still going to Wellington?

Good question, NZMM. The heaviest Novice men's class at a regional event is Over 80kg - but there is an Over 90kg for Open competitors (and Open Over 100kg at Nationals only).

I'm not 100% certain but I am fairly sure that any competitor can choose to compete as an Open competitor if they want to. But if they do, then they can't go back to being a Novice competitor. The rules for qualifying as an Open competitor are there to prevent those who should be in Open staying as a Novice - rather than stopping anyone competing in the Open classes if they want to.
