Nutrition is pretty straight forward - eat every 2 to 3 hours - at least 2g protein/kg bw/day, protein with every feeding, carbs with 3+ meals, dietary fats 3+ meals, fruit/veges/fibrous carbs 3+ meals, water 4L/day, and PWO protein shake.

You must eat protein to build muscle. You can try and eat 3 meals a day but your results will be lacking. I can't see where the difficulty lies with people not being able to eat enough protein and not being able to eat at least every 3 hours.

If you can't get it right all the time go with the 80/20 rule - aim to get it right 80% of the time and you should be pretty sweet.
