nzbodybuilder
Hey all.I was wondering if anyone has any information about the CNI's being held in Tauranga on the 29th September. The only information I can seem to find anywhere is the date and where it's being held.I'm always checking the NZFBB website for updates, but other than a new flashy look in the last couple of days, updates on there seem to be few and far between. Thanks for any info! Pseudonym
I'm always checking the NZFBB website for updates, but other than a new flashy look in the last couple of days, updates on there seem to be few and far between.Just went and had a look at the new design. Very clean and tidy, and much nicer than the previous green version. Once they get some content up, it'll be excellent. While we're on the subject of the NZFBB website, I'd like to see the competition results going up online faster. Ideally, they'd go up the day after the comp, and certainly within a few days. After a recent competition, I kept checking their site to see whether a friend had won - eventually I found my answer 2 weeks later on http://www.muscleimaging.co.nz. So there's room for improvement there. It looks like this site will allow multiple people from the Federation to edit it, so hopefully that will make it easier to provide results while they're still fresh. MasterTel
Very good points, Pseudonym! Believe me, many of the NZFBB Exec and Event Organisers like me have also been frustrated with the state of our site and lack of updates for a while now. We have had another recent change of website administator, and while there is still work to be done, it seems we are back on track.I'll make sure at our next Exec meeting (on Oct 21 after Nationals) that steps are put in place to ensure event results and photos are posted asap.I'll make sure the results from this weekend's NZFBB North Island Champs are placed on this site when I return to Wellington from Masterton on Sunday afternoon. michaelk
Just went and had a look at the new design. Very clean and tidy, and much nicer than the previous green version. Once they get some content up, it'll be excellent.I've said it before and I'll say it again, the website would be the obvious place for an NZFBB Hall of Fame. My vote if it's worth anything for the first two inductees are:Warren Thin, 8x National ChampBJ Johns, Mr NZ 1994- our first IFBB Pro bodybuilder. IronGame
Well done to all those who competed, it was a good show and over 80 athletes! some good quality to
fergie01
Yeah, what a day and an event. First time entered and it was awesome, however, the BB Org that ran it leave alot to be desired, not all that professional or sorted in the organising an event but it did not dampen the buzz of every competitor. michaelk
Not that i was there, but I had a chat to a top NABBA competitor who was at the night show, they thought the whole event was very well run, and particularly mentioned they thought compere was very good also.Hope your feelings don't dampen your enthusiasm to compete and you have a go at the Nationals too. IronGame
The show was run ok, lots of waits though and lots of mistakes with the music but overall quite good, and I thought the MC was a dick but each to there own.I found it rich that people got disquallified at the Sonny for having profanities in there music and the same was made clear at the breifing for the CNI but the general pose down music had plenty of f#@k's

MUSCLEROIDS
At all NZFBB show they have to set aside one room for testing even if they don't turn up. And I don't think there was testing on the night as all the overalls were all out side with in 15mins
