Personally, I don't feel like I've had a workout after just 1 or 2 sets.

I know what you mean, but we wll know what we 'feel' to be right ain't necessarily so. They have the research to back it up, and say subsequent sets gain only 0-5% and can even reduce gains.

I'm going to give it a go, but do two warm ups on the big muscles as these old bones can get injured easier than a few years ago.
