I did see your journal, Mike, but I forgot to comment on your photos - very rude of me!

Your quads have a good shape to them. Be careful you don't focus so much on powerlifting and compound exercises that you neglect your calves though.

I'm not expert enough to comment on your bench form in the video in your journal. When you mentioned "tucking your elbows in" what do you mean? What were you doing before?

Tucking the elbows in is a powerlifting technique, as opposed to flaring them which is a bodybuilding style bench press. With the elbows tucked, the angle between your body and your arm is decreased and it allows you to incoperate your delts and tris more (as well as helping you limit your ROM). In a BB-style bench press your arms are exactly perpendicular to your body (works more chest).

And you're right, I should start doing some calf work just in case. ;)
