Phantomb
Injured my wrist playing soccer 2 weeks ago. Usually with foot sprains or whatever it gradually goes away. This one aint going anywhere and I can't lift without it. Can anyone recommend a good physio in Wellington?
AK
Sorry to hear that dude...I had my wrist injured end of last year / January this year... Oly lifting excident. Partially teared some ligament.I went to the sports doctors on Lambton quay to get it checked out they refered me to x-ray ... Its right next door so handy as... Than got refered to a great phisyo on the terrace she is specialized in hand/wrist injury.I advise you to take the same route... It only started to improove once they put a brace on it that I had to wear most of the day... You maybe in luck and wont have such a bad injury. severe
have you considered acupuncture? I had a damaged wrist from a car accident and the anti-inflammatory never helped once I put it under stress. acupuncture fixed it up and return it to full flexibility. though I still have to watch the heavy weight and I have to use gloves with wrist straps I dont think I could've lifted without the needles. it is no silver bullet but gave me my life back.25 minute session. just a thought.
