I have my masters in nutritional biochemistry from the states and I've been extensively looking at research articles about the subject of vitamins/minerals etc....

well I'm not aware of all the multis out there but if you want to have me look at some more I'd gladly do it.

WARNING:

The recommended adult daily amount of vitamin A from all sources is 2500IU. Taking more than 8000IU a day during pregnancy may cause birth defects. If pregnant or considering becoming pregnant consult your healthcare practitioner before taking Vitamin A supplements.

Each LEVEL 5ml METRIC SPOONFUL (5g) CONTAINS:

r, s-alpha Lipoic acid 22 mg

levo-Carnitine fumerate 22 mg

Tyrosine 55.5 mg

Thiamine hydrochloride 55.5 mg

Riboflavin 22 mg

Nicotinamide 222 mg

Nicotinic acid 5.5 mg

Calcium pantothenate 111 mg

Contraindications: Be cautious of high doses of vitamin B3 in gout - may lead to increased uric acid.

So many things are under or over dosed. bad form of vitamin B3 (niacinamide). how many servings of it are you consuming at the moment?

A useful screening tool is to automatically reject anything that has any niacinamide or more than 1000 IU vitamin A.

I've been taking my multi vits religiously for about 4 years & haven't had a single cold or flu in that time - dunno if the multi-vits are the reason or not but I'm not about to drop them from my routine.

best thing i've found for colds and flu once you do get them is to take three 1000mg vitamine C pills in one day and the symtoms disaper
