Cammo
I only use milk before bed.My morning shake consists of cold water, chocolate whey powder & a frozen banana. If I'm trying to bulk up I'll throw some oats in there. Not much good to you with only a fork to mix your sh!t though - especially with the frozen banana

Andrew
Looks ok for a cheap form of a protein drink but I think it would be had to determine the nutritional value without knowing the quantities of the ingredients How much milk? How many egg whites? How much yogurt? And approximately how many grams is in a big lump?
nzidol
I can tell you I it's 1 egg white and 1 pot of yogat but as for the rest, I really have no idea?????My friend is gona give me some flax seed oil to put in it as well. What do think of that??I want to be able to drink this shake twice a day.
Andrew
Ok I don’t what to sound negative here but you need to read the labels get the nutritional info of then and write it downAdd up the carbs the fats and the protein form all the ingredients you put in the shake that way you would be guessing if you getting enough

Did you actually work out how much each one of those shakes is going to cost you compared to a protein powder? Considering the amount of protein you got out of that, and the low quality of the protein, compared to a decent whey protein it would have cost you more than a serving of whey protein. If you're only going to use 2 serves a day most whey powders work out at around $1.20 to $1.60 per serve - at most you'd be spending $3 to $5 a day. A plastic shaker costs all of $5 or less from somewhere like Payless Plastics (maybe even less on TradeMe), and a protein powder - although expensive up front, Flex is right.. looking at the big picture, it will cost you less in the long run. Sheesh.. that's expensive :pfft: I got an alcheapo from Kmart for $12.I've had it for over a year now - definitely got my $$$'s worth there 8)Actually I got a free one from BB.com last time I made an order but I biffed it out as I would have been too embarassed to break it out at the gym - it was so small & nasty, I would have beating that shit up for hours before it resembled a shake (it was powered by 1 aa battery :pfft:).I should've just got another T-shirt :? You can spend all the time in the world at the gym but if your not getting the amino's you need from protein your not going to get very far.. The Legend Killer
nzidol, if you can't afford a whole protein container at once you should check out Health2000 in Petone (or Upper Hutt), there you can scoop out your own protein powder, and you pay on the weight. Or at least they did when I went there last.
