has anyone ever heard of "pre-exhaustion" being used in a circuit type training??

ie...start with BB bench press, do 20 reps at 50% ,then 10 at your 10rmax? and so on through a whole body circuit?

i always had a different understanding of pre-exhaust, but would this work??

Seemed kinda odd, as its just like doing a whole lot of warmup sets?

It'd be hard to knock out 10 reps on your 10rm weight after all that cardio :pfft:

I have done 20 reppers in the past (only on squats - "widowmakers" is the term generally used), but not for a full body workout.
