Bunk PCT, thinking of going to a Doctor need advice

New here and first time posting on this site.  I'll give stats first because in most responses people seem to ask for them.  43 years old, 6'4, 103 kgs, 17%BF, 3.5 years in the gym now, was a fat f*ck 3.5 years ago @ 105kgs and totally out of shape, decided make a drastic change started at the gym and got down to 88kgs.  I then moved back up to 93kgs and stayed at this weight for a year or so.  I spent about a year researching as much as I could on doing a cycle and then timed it to do the first cycle this winter when I could get the most out of it and train the hardest.  I had everything planned and spent a massive amount of time researching forums, brought books and read reviews of online suppliers and ended up getting all my gear from thailand knowing full well it was all from UGL but this final decision was  all based  on reviews from multiple different sources on different forums.  I brought my Test, climid, Nova and even brought Letrozole just incase I had any Gyno problems.  I thought I was totally prepped and ready.  I started my 9 week cycle and it was a pyramid cycle of Test E only.  The cycle was a as follows in mls per week @300mg.  .5,  1,  1.5, 2, 2, 2, 1.5, 1, .5mls each shot once per week.  The cycle was amazing….. I ate like a horse and trained my arse off.  I was literally able to watch my body grow week by week and felt truly amazing throughout the cycle.  I went from 93kgs to 105kgs in 9 weeks.  I finished my cycle and started my clomid  two weeks after last pin.  In this time I started to get tender nips and they haven't gotten much worse but I can feel the small lump starting behind the nip.  I started taking my Letrozole tabs  5 days ago and nothing has changed.  For the two weeks I took clomid I had none of the sided effects I was expecting from it and since starting the Letro I have had none of the side effects expected from it, neither has the tenderness of the nip gone or the lumps.  I'm starting think all my PCT gear is Bunk…..  Today I went to get bloods done to see where I am at so I guess I'll know in a day or so.  My question is how long should it take to feel the effect of Letro and secondly I'm thinking of going to  doctor to ask them for PCT to stop the symptoms of Gyno I've got.  Has anyone anyone here been  and asked a doctor to help with the same issue for PCT?  Will they just try to refer me to  an Endo?  I really don't want this on my permanent medical records and I'm hesitant to even go to a doc but it may be there lesser of the two evils….

GP wouldn't prescribe AI's or SERM's as they are indicated for breast cancer in females, maybe if you presented with gyno you might be referred to a specialist.. Maybe you should have pinned twice a week with half the dose to lower plasma spikes and subsequent aromatization, you may now be androgen deficient with too much circulating estrogen..

I'd say your pct is junk. If clomid, nolva and letro didn't do the trick then it's garbage. Guts bro. I doubt you'll get any drugs from a medical professional. They most likely suggest surgery which will cost thousands. I would hunt more letro and nolva and run a gyno diminshing protocol. It may work but the longer you wait the harder it will be to reverse. Here is my blood work,  just got it back now,  can anyone help and let me know if the numbers are anywhere near where they should be.  Number one mistake I made was not getting pre cycle bloods done,  but like so many people I just didn't realise how easy it was to go and get self requested tests done until now….

 

FSH 4.8 IU/L

LH 6.7 IU/L

Oestradiol  < 50 Pmol/L

Testosterone 17.2 nmol/L

Free testosterone  148 pmol/L

Those are all in the range of a healthy male of your age. Perhaps the gyno is settled in. But yeah I'd expect your E2 to be much lower if you were taking letro so I'd confirm it's bunk.

Thanks Terry, I'm pleased to hear that most of the numbers are not to bad considering Iv come of the cycle  with  effectively no pct if it was all bunk,  The lumps are still defiantly getting bigger for sure. I have some new letro and Nolva on the way so I'll keep this post going to let others know how I get on.

Average range for healthy males is 70-110 Pmol/L, so you are clearly below.. The symbol < = less than, so you are somewhere less than 50, NOT 50...

7 days now on my new Letro, not sure if I'm winning or not, still have tenderness and discomfort in both nips and one is worse than the other.  Nothing visually obvious but still got the lumps in behind the nips.  Iv been running 2.5 of letro per day and I'v not had any of the side effects I was expecting at all, I guess that's a good thing.  I guess I'll just keep taking the letro for the next month and see if things improve.

You don't play with your own nipples if you suspect possible gyno as you could trigger lactation, and other proliferative effects on tissue..

Today's a new day and I think I'm winning this battle.  The tenderness and discomfort has mostly gone now , still got some small lumps but I think they are getting smaller.

I'v almost weaned myself of the letro now, another five days and I'm done.  Iv been taking letro for a month now and in that time Iv tried 3 different types. Iv had bloods done twice  and some of the numbers have been a bit unusual but I think Iv beaten the gyno, no tenderness and very little sign of any lumps remaining.  I expected the letro to play havoc with me but for the last month Iv had little to no sides from it at all. The only thing out of ordinary  was sex drive none exesistant... looking forward to getting off it completely!

It's hard to know with some of it, over the last month Iv used 3 different brands of letro, one set of bloods I had done had E2 less than 50 so that would make me think that batch of letro was working , the next set of bloods I had done had an increase  in E2 the only difference was I asked for a sensitive essay for the blood test this time, I'm off for more bloods at the end of this week to see where I'm up to.
