Ok I can't sleep lol so here goes..

 

my load went awesome and I was ON yesterday. Had three guys in my class, one being the guy I beat in Hawkes bay 4 weeks ago. We went on stage in the Order of the numbers we were assigned and i was on the end. Did our first round of symmetry/mandatories and the crowd was just going nuts for me I could hardly hear the calls lol. After round one I got put dead centre so I was feeling pretty good.. anyway we did our routines and then we're back on stage for the pose down and placings.. then I got given second.. was a bit surprised as I was put in the middle etc etc and I won last time based on condition and i was 100x harder this week but hey what can you do! Looking forward to seeing photos tho and hearing feedback.

 

also for those interested my load went something like this..

 

sat-wed water HIGH

mon-wed zero carbs

thursday- 9x carb meals 3L water 

friday- 8x carb meals zero sodium all day then having 650g fatty steak, 400g Kumara 2 eggs and Mac oil before bed with himilayan sea salt added. 1.5L water

saturday- 6am 300g steak 300g Kumara 2 eggs and Mac oil, salt added, double scoop black coffee with minimal water, 9am 250g Kumara 100g chicken double scoop coffee, salt added , 11.30??? 250g Kumara, pre pump up 1.5 shots of vodka (got me drunk haha!!) and a snickers bar.

 

Oh and I was basically on Keto the past ten week. From Hawkes bay till nats I was on my depletion diet for Hawkes bay. 24g carbs, 110g fat, 250g pro and prior to Hawkes bay I was doing 48g carbs, 100g fat, 250g pro. Fastest fat loss I've ever experienced but my god it's not for the faint hearted!! I did a refeed every 1-2 weeks on average. The reason I say this is I think it contributes to my load being so successful. My body has been screaming for carbs for ages now so as soon as I ate decent portions my body just started changing rapidly. It was pretty exciting haha.

 

 

i put that load together with Harry B. Can't thank that guy enough he's been a great sounding board for me over the years and an even better friend. It's rare to get genuine friends in bodybuilding so to have one of my best mates or should I say brothers sharing the same passion is pretty cool. I did a similar load for Hawkes bay and it worked so well.. we made a few tweaks but not many and I'd say we got a 10% improvement for nationals in the two days prior to the show. I can finally say I've learnt how to dial in my stubborn ass body haha! Oh and stress management helps too.

Awesome effort bro. So much progress in the time we've known each other. From me telling you (patiently and a million times) to where we're at now. This is the most rewarding thing. We've become mates and the bodybuilding stuff is a small part of what we talk about. You're like a sponge for information and you apply in a very diligent way and take what works for you and ditch what doesn't. 

 

We had a conversation a while ago where you were frustrated because you'd suggest something and I'd just be like "yeah sounds good, do that" hahaha but truth is it's because you make smart well thought out decisions. Now you back yourself and it's awesome to see bro! (If I didn't agree I'd always tell you you're being retarded hahaha) 

 

Ahh when bodybuilding kids leave the nest hahaha haha

Exactly bro and like I said the other day if bodybuilding didn't matter anymore or if neither of us could benefit from eachother we would still be mates. Not very common in this game as we have both found out many times by two faced users :) lol
