Just trained legs. Nothing heavy just pump. Was sick all last week which wasn't ideal for the show and on Saturday night I had chronic stomach pains and bloating so didn't want to do anything stupid today...

leg extensions ss lying leg curls

5 sets of 10-15/10-15

squats

40kgx20

60kgx20

80kgx20

100kgx20

80kgx20

60kgx20

was meant to do Romanians now but my lower back was screaming at me so I did seated leg curls

4x20

walking bb lunges

40kgx20 per leg, 2 sets slow and controlled

stabding calf raises

4x10

last set 10 reps 10 sec rest 15 reps 15 sec rest 20 reps 20 sec rest 30 reps

the pump was absolutely ridiculous. Stated feeling quite off/light headed etc towards the end of that. It was a hard week on my body so I think it's just trying to get back into the swing of things.. No time to take the foot off the pedal though I can have my break in 4 weeks time. No post workout cardio today but I did my hour this mining like I have every day this prep.

i had a pump in my knees this morning after cardio, felt so weird lol.

Sorry guys also waned to post these. First pic is from feb and the second is from 2 or so weeks ago. Would get a more recent one but I'm not working at that gym anymore and wanted to use the same lighting etc. pretty happy with the progress all things considered. The left pic was just as my delt problem came right.

Look at that back!!!

I guess you're focusing on bring your chest up? Looks very overpowered by your delts.

Not really. Delts are pumped in that pic and when my chest is pumped it's ok. Feedback wasn't in relation to bringing up any lagging body parts it was more about conditioning in the glutes

Man, your physique has really come on in leaps and bounds. I remember a few years ago you had a few body parts that massively overpowered everything else (I haven't gone back and looked, but I think I'm right in saying that?). Whereas now, you're looking way more balanced and proportional. Awesome bro!

Hah yeah man. When I first started out in 2011 I was all quads and biceps. Then once I progressed I was all legs back and arms. I finally figured out how to make everything else develop lol. I brought my chest up heaps last year but after hurting my shoulder and having so much time off any chest or delt work I was worried how it would look. However not one judge commented on a weak body part it was all in relation to improving conditioning for nats so I am so so happy with that.

thank you bro!!

For those that don't have me on FB/IG..

March 2015 vs September 2016. I am so happy with this. What makes me laugh is the stories behind the images.. On the left I was in comp shape from 6 weeks out, get sick the week of the show and it all just turned to garbage. Then a shoulder injury which cost me probably 8 months of hard upper body training. On the right - 11 weeks out and behind schedule I decide to change shows which meant I was 6 weeks out and VERY behind schedule.. However I busted my ass, had a very successful final week and brought the best package of my life. I got my redemption and proved a point to MYSELF. I hope these images display the amount of consistency, effort, sweat and tears it took because there were plenty of each of those lol. I am going to do all I can to improve on this for nationals. Watch this space..

Great work Jordan, isnt it funny how sometimes you can do almost everything right and get a less than satisfying result and other times  you just go for it you get a better result!

I remember your pics from that last show and you were pretty much ready 6 weeks out and then it went South so you must be stoked this time - big improvements!

On a side note: Is it just me or has anyone else noted that alot of the NZIFBB shows seem to use those side lights on tripods to light their stages - even for the nationals? I cant understand (other than financially) why they would do this though as it seems to just wash out everyone with yellowish side lighting and provides no shadow or down lighting at all.

The difference in the lighting between the Left Pic and the IFBB show and the theatre down lights at the WFF/NABBA show is just night and day.

IMO those side lights just ruin physiques and photos and make good athletes look very average. Even guys that are peeled look just lean under those sorts of lights.

Thanks D! You hit the nail on the head though.. Financially beneficial. Same as the tan, I used dream tan on the weekend and it is so much more appealing than the spray tan that you pay for at the NZIFBB shows. Well the show I did anyway. I mean just look at the difference in the photos.. But anyway I don't want to bag anyone, I really enjoyed competing on the weekend it was definitely the most fun, satusfying and well run show that I've been apart of. Can't wait for nationals.
