Doing deads.

Program said to do 305 but up to 315 fine (rang my coach after i did it and he said "yeah whatever,  dont give a f*ck"). Heres 315 which youtube has allowed unlike 305 which they blocked coz was music playing in background at gym.

Anyway that's end of week 2 of my program. Next week be bit harder for bench. Heres what ill be doing next two weeks.

 

 

Columns are squat, bench, dead in that order if not already obvious. Ill be starting with bench though then squats then deads last. Doing that every week.

 

Will probably opt for 297.5x3 on deads rather than 280x5 as reckon will be good to get used to hitting some heavier weights. Will see how i feel on day though obviously.

Went home. Knee sore. Cant be fucked doing 210x3 without wraps for 5 sets which is what i was going to do. Would probably not be able to walk tomorrow (or go work etc which i wouldn't actually care about at all). Gonna quit job.

 

Only going to be doing the squats from my program that are wrapped from now on. So only will be squatting every 2nd week.  Hopefully that doesnt keep fucking knee.

 

Feeling like cbf powerlifting but probably just coz been tired lately and maybe coming down with some tropical disease and also coz sore.

NPP have the same supposed joint effect as deca? if so, up the dose of that

Knees fucked. Rode into back of a subaru station wagon at almost 80km/h coz he pulled out in front of me. Always has gotten sore from squats but wraps transfers a lot off the force off the knee so hopefully will be fine.

I wasnt too impressed when he told me "i saw you  i just didnt realise you were going so fast". Wasn't deliberate though and he was older guy and was shaken by it and apologetic rather than being a fuckwit so i let it go. His wife came out and was washing blood off me then his neighbor took me to hospital. 

 

Was very lucky not to be badly hurt. Not even a broken bone.Thought i was going to die before hand. Id say if id clipped him then rolled on road id have been fucked. Back of his car took most impact then i landed on my feet in front of his car.

 

Was 6 years ago almost now but yeah unfortunately knee was something that hit his car hard. Cant see it in pic but my right one left a big dent in the metal bit of his boot door and then both hit top bit of car when i travelled over roof.

Lost my newish straps somehow. Just had shit double loop ones. Cbf them so no straps today.

 

3rd rep in vid bar starting to slip in my hands a little but was ok. Got cramp in quad (which is fuckinq weird, probably related to a conspiracy ) at top hence big pause before lockout etc. Would have been fine with straps/no cramp.

 

Program said to do 297.5x3 i think but whatever. Waste of time following program. Pl program = the new 'meal plan'/'cutting diet' =  fitness industry scam.

Trained again today. Bench. Big mistake/waste of time etc. Idk much about the body re. science of training but probably CNS still fucked from deads yesterday? Maybe too much volume on them and should have done my warm ups sumo then switched to conventional? Plus did that OHP too which wouldn't have helped. Back started cramping up on both bb and db benching which also was shit.

Basically weak as f*ck. Should be hitting round 10 reps on 70kg db flat bench first set not 7 then struggling to do 5. Just a one off bad day though im hoping.

Was thinking of doing gpc nz nationals if my training goes ok and i can be fucked etc. Probably just have 3 or 4 500ml energy drinks on the day.  A couple per training day during comp prep too. Atm its offseason = more volume of energy drink so only having one of those 250mg cans that you commonly see girls drinking from. Less is more etc.

how much energy drink should i use, does the protocol change if your natty?

Sugarfree V is the best. The original one not the new one. Its not necessarily the best value for money though. Youre often better off consuming 3 or 4 cheaper 500ml energy drinks than 2x500ml Sugarfree V if youre on tight budget.

Had no idea or warnings of the impending cramp at the time. Might have a bit less confidence the next time as a result.

 

If you arent confident though it fucks up your ability to deadlift properly ive found coz you dont pull as hard at the start which is where it matters and you want the rep to be as fast as possible anyway. 

 

Bar was starting to slip on that last rep but no straps is heaps better i reckon while your grip is good (ie singles or whatever) because you can just walk straight up and pull and setup is better. I would (was going to) use straps though on that set if they werent lost.

Trained arms last night. Nothing heavy at all. Went a bit (an inch or so on each side) wider on light (100kg) cg bench doing really slow reps tucking elbows and did most of my curls before this. No real elbow pain to speak of which is good.

 

Knee is sore which is annoying but will be giving some wrapped squats a go tomorrow night. Having today off as trained the last 3 days and i could do with couple hours extra sleep tonight.

Didnt bother with gym again tonight. Had to go see lawyer then had couple beers and went casino lost $990 or roulette in one spin so left coz got $1000 limit on card. Win it back other day. Cbf legs this week. Doing deads tomorrow or sat probably unless cbf.

Left gym immediately. Cant even remember last time inj test etc. Probably natty. Need to go home and shower as haven't since like Friday and also eat.

 

Weighed 110kg tonight. Was 115 couple days ago and been 114-115 for like 2-3 weeks so probably dehydrated or burned 4kg fat and muscle. Not sure.

 

Cbf powerlifting training atm as too hard need to just focus on life and 1v1 my employer in court and probably give them car im using atm back

Haven't eaten since breakfast so strength wasn't there and faded fast. New goal is to become a top apex predator in multiple habitats so have adjusted training accordingly. Probably not doing nz gpc comp or any other comp but who knows.
