Reunited with my big reptile today. After 15 days he returned. He came out of the jungle and tried attacking some children and was in the custody of local aboriginal snake catcher when i arrived. Will be making him a steel cage asap.

My joints definitely arent. Wrists, elbows and shoulders are taking a hammering from the weight and i only can really get one decent heavy (for me anyway) set in of benching now before having to give up because cant lower the bar properly without too much pain to continue. Got quite long arms too and a narrowish grip which is shit for bench.

Did some other shit but was pretty half hearted as the 230x5 was probably hardest set of squats I've ever done. Left hamstring tendon feels a bit fucked from the wraps. Hopefully minor.

Deadlifts/shoulders

 

Today was last day to test out my deads before this comp im doing that idc about. No idea why its last possible day as opposed to yesterday or tomorrow or tuesday but it sounds plausible.

 

To test out dead doing AMRAP of 300. If i can do 5 then in theory should deadlift 340 in comp.

Yeah only got it few inches off ground too. Not too sure bro. Might have to do a Bostin Lloyd this coming week.

 

Just a bad day i guess. Been out in sun most of the day bent over welding/using angle grinder so back is shit and only weighing 110kg atm so probably really dehydrated. Was 115 yesterday. Last time did deads got 3 of 300. Stopped pinning anything too like 2 weeks ago when wasnt gonna do comps so probably natty now which wouldn't help.

 

Not even gonna bother doing shoulders as is waste of time being natty. Think ill just repeat todays planned session tomorrow or tuesday.

Will be interested to see how you do. Don't do Bostin Loyd, he weak as piss for how much he uses lol. Unless syntholling your chest can remove a couple inches of ROM on your Bench then go hard haha

Didn't train tonight. Already paid for flights and for comp like 450 all up but now kinda cbf doing it. Not even training or eating anything atm. Really cant be fucked and cbfd lifting and powerlifting atm. Is realistically too hard on my body to continue it much longer.

 

Havent booked accommodation yet or taken leave so might just look at it as sunk cost and write it off. Won the money i used for flights anyway, week or 2 ago at casino on roulette.

 

Cliffs: wasted money on comp i cbfd doing anymore that i may but probably wont do.

That was one off day, it doesn't mean your whole comp is off.   A good rest this week and you'll be good to go.  

 

Just open at 280 if you have to get that mental game sorted to get one on the board

Yeah f*ck it ill do it, was just being a pussy. Too much time in the sun cooked my brain. Have had quite a sore back lately and felt lethargic as f*ck (probably dehydrated) but got duramine now so shouldn't be that noticable on day of comp. Might test out bench and deads tonight.

 

Unrelated to comp or training, i got painful as f*ck sunburn worse than ive ever had from sun too from welding in a tshirt. Didnt know that was a thing but apparantly it is.Makes intense UV light and stuff.

 

Also my big reptile broke out of his cage yesterday/sunday night into the jungle again which is gay as probably never see him again.

If you live in a jungle can't you just go hunting and catch another reptile? 

 

What reptile was it? 

 

When i lived on a mining camp in the Pilbarra few years back there were these native lizards that would cruise around the camp site every now and again.  They were about the size of a large dog.  Blew my mind these little dinosaurs still existed.  

 

Wasnt by allowed to get anywhere near them or touch them though.  The mine managers would fire you on the spot

new girl in HR went to site for the first time, pack of dingoes followed her cos she had food in her backpack and they  could smell it. she ran for ages had a nervous breakdown thought she was about to be eaten by dingoes lol

He's an olive python. 2.4m and weighs 5 or 6kg. Quite attached to him. Those must be some sort of goanna/monitor lizard id say. Guessing they had flickering forked tounges?

 

You get water monitors here round darwin. Caught a couple and id say you wouldn't have wanted to grab those bigger ones as they have a venomous/toxic bite (its debatable whether theyre actually mildly venomous or if its just toxins/bacteria that fucks you up) and they will whip you with their tails surprisingly hard if you try grab them too. And they have pretty long sharp claws. 

 

Pic of snake is about 8 months old and hes quite a bit bigger now.

Yeah the two of us were in the water swimming then he climbed on me and started hissing once he'd had enough. 

 

He's friendly. Sleeps in my bed often and always comes and finds me and climbs on me if im in another room. Was putting himself to bed every night for a while before i moved. Would slither from lounge down hallway and into my room then up under blankets and be coiled up waiting for me.

 

Gf didn't want to sleep in bed with him in it so she slept on the couch every night til she got over it.

Quick update

 

Havent lifted this week as have been deloading mostly because been tired and cbf.

 

Tonight i will be starting my reloading phase (if you dunno what it is then google it) as per the programming from my life coach. This will incorperate a 2 day test e cycle as well as mental strength conditioning training. All going well I  will be hitting some bodyweight PRs on my lifts in comp and go at least 3/9
