That was hectic as f*ck. I'm semi traumatised... May pull out ? of Saturdays comp because mrs n co are going to be in hospital till Thursday.  

Undersleeping/eating and esterogen is high as f*ck haha ? 

 

pumped to get back in the gym. If I don't compete, il just sneak into the garage on Saturday and do a. 1rm

Yea thought id start a journal considering I have no mates and train bymyself haha structure is a little all over the shop ATM and yearly plan hasn't exactly panned out but Ya get that. Keen to get back training ASAP and kill some PBS.

Snuck in a secret session while I'm meant to be at ikea today...haha

 

 bench 3x2 at 120 long pauses

 

front squat upto 120x2 felt heavy

 

face pulls 50

 

mrs n baby come home tomorrow. I slept at home last night what beats the floor of the hospital and also got a nap in today. Got tired real quick at training, and squats didn't feel great, but bench feels really good. Technique, scapular positioning isn't on point but paused 120s feel solid as, second set I thought I probably had 4-5 reps there. 

I'll see how the new family  goes over the next few days etc, and that will dictate if I do the bench comp.

You only need a qualifying standard/total at vic states for the open 3lift comp, and since I've done a deadlift this year there wouldn't be any problem competing in august anyway.

 

really pumped for the next training block of death, lots of front squats rows and bench. Will be training from home so I can just be fucken awsome, but apparently I won't get sleep for atleast 4-5years..

Its no platform PB but happy to double 130 for the first time in my life.
not exactly fired up, and Wednesday felt better, but happy to grind out that second rep. 135 would have been there tomorrow.
 
then front squated 125x2
 
ham curl/seated cable row 3x15 superset
 
This year has been all over the place...not exactly going to plan, with elbows, babies, random comps etc but so far have achieved...
 
deadlift PB 230x1
bench PB 130x2 
 
13 week build up starting next week, a lot of front squats and upper back work, frequent bench and a DL day

-Paused beltless squat in sleeves

1x2 #160kg

 

-Strapless Kroc rows no rest between arms

5x20 #25kg

 

-Purple band pull aparts

1x50

 

-Paused squat felt nice. Prob could of gone up another 10, bar and body moved well on the first rep, form broke second.

 

-Plan on a lot of krocs, different weights and reps. 5x20 strapless no rest can get really tough, start easy.

 

-Pull a parts, pump.

-Sumo SLDL

3x10 #100kg

 

-Band pull through

-Pulls moved OK. Nothing amazng, not sure what best beltless DL is.

-SLDL bands around ankles as always to force more glute activation.

-pull throughs, just a little stretch really.
