Deads were good had to belt up at 165 to complete the last set, core core core.

The Bench was better just playing with a couple of things, had 130 for the boards but Quigley said he did 135 so I got the fractional plates out and did 135.5 but missed the last rep so did it again.

Rack Pulls were good no belt, but from below the knees so not a really hard stroke, just got to get the setup right to make it easy.

Good end to the week Squats were good and strong still trying a few things.

Bench went well just did singles at the top then tested the Rammstein out was going to do boards but went to the chest. Will take a few workouts to get it right maybe next one.

Start of the equipment cycle leading into the Nationals.

First week of full battle armour, Squats were good depth was real good for the start used my loose 46.

Second squat session was paused, looked tough to start but went pretty well just paused for a count of 2 early days.

Bench was so so, used the Kat 50, went to a 1 board. Was all over the place so added the 1 Board will go to chest next week

Put a 48 Super on and did some heavy boards took a couple of sets to get back in the groove will increase next week. Not to sure how much the shirt gave me though.

Not a bad session for the Start very pleased with the Squats just work on the Bench as usual.

Notes:

Deads were good, belted on the last raw sets, hands are getting pretty mun-ted. I am using one of the rougher bars, will have to do some hand care work, as a couple of my callouses started to rip.

The Bench was good, trying the tuck, which seems to be working, not fast but working.

Rammstein, was a bit better today, got doubles @ 120, those will go to triples next week, still trying to get the position right.

Took a leaf out of, what Michael was saying about Sumo, working hard, on my warm ups, to get the setup up right. Usually I just try and race through, it is working because my top sets were a lot better.

Good day today, Squats were good and strong took the pause up to a 3 count.

Bench went ok did pin press to 110kgs most weight I have had for a while, felt good, a booster to the training.

Weekly Analysis:

Squats:

First week with Full Battle armour felt good, actually my Squats are going pretty well at the moment. Been working hard on them since WBOP last year. Loose suit on, will step the suits up as I drop the Fat. Paused squats are feeling good, 3 count today so will increase next week all to 3. Still deciding on foot ware but happy with what I am using at the moment.

Bench:

Used the 50 Super Kat but I need to pimp it, it moves around too much as it is pretty loose, tried a 48 SK on the Boards not to sure if it helped much so will look at taking the boards down. Pretty well decided on WSB/Metal Militia for my bench.

Deads:

Good effort this week used the loose suit straps down and belted on the work sets. Have put a bit more effort into my warm ups instead of just rushing through. I am taking more time setting up properly and focusing like it is top set. May start deficits next week from 2" and look at getting my hips down a bit more and see how that goes.

Notes:

Second Week of the equipment cycle leading into the Nationals.

Squats were good, took 2 sets to settle in not to sure why but sets 3 and 4 were heaps better.

Second squat session was paused, weight was down from last week by 10kgs. But the reps were up by 8 work sets by 4 were good just the last rep was tough. Adductors were pretty tight tonight I Like.

Bench was better, 1 board went a lot better than last week.

Put the 48 Super on again, and did boards again, this week was a lot better. Still thinking the shirt is not giving much, may lower the board down next week.

Good session pleased with the Squats just the Bench as usual.

How long did it take you to plough through all that mahi OB?

Hey Big Guy, about 2 hours 40 bit quicker with the paused squats for some reason. Feels like half a day is gone when you have finished.

Rammstein, was a bit better, did triples at 110 with a pause using this as a Speed Session, still hard to get the position right.

Played with my stance in the Rack Pulls felt a lot stronger but should have done a set the old way for comparison.

Good Squat day today, strong and tidy.

Bench went ok did pin press to 105kgs but have got a couple of shoulder niggles which is hampering the bench a bit working through it though..

Weekly Analysis:

Squats:

2nd week with Full Battle armour and went better, Squats are going pretty well at the moment. Been working hard on these and it is showing. Did Squats in Chucks this week, fine in my slippers my feet do feel as stable as opposed to bare feet. Did pauses this week to a 3 Count pretty happy with the progress on these. Still deciding on foot ware but happy with what I am using at the moment.

Bench:

Same a s last week used the 50 Super Kat but I still need to pimp it, it moves around too much as it is pretty loose. Used the 48 SK on the Boards, still a bit of work here but happy with how it is going.

Deads:

No equipment this week on the Deads, just pulls to the knees and from the knees. I am still taking more time setting up properly and focusing like it is top set. Did not do deficits this week will look at them next week.
