Yeah I did get along for a bit, but only caught the last round (Atlas stones) as I was a little preoccupied for the first half of the day.

Wasn't sure if I could have a play with the gear :pfft: So nah, didn't do anything. Was tempted to give a couple of the stones a go though :shifty:

Thanks Big Guy, Technique is good but watching raw power with you and the rest of the CBC crew, :clap: :clap: well at my age I would rather have the Raw Power but thats gone, so got to make up with my skills. A long hot day I would have been happier getting the lifts I had in mind and getting a really good total but in the circumstances the small gains are good.

Hope to be on the platform with the CBC crew again at some stage and put on a good show.

You never know - I looked at this month's results, and at last weekend's festivities, and I mind have to give it a go. After all, any muppet can claim they've a 180kg deadlift on the internet but it's those three white lights and the judges' views that matter :nod:

It could be around late Novemebr or Early December we are trying to get some of the Oz Boys and the first CDPA lifters to make a comeback but will now later in the year.

Going to do a 7 week Bench Cycle leading into a 12 week 3 lift to the WBOP Championships.

Will start using the Adistars for Benching I have had problems with the heels in training. Where my bum leaves the bench so 3 odd weeks out I have substitued runners leading into comps. Will try a diffferent foot setup and the anount of benching will get this right. Will be doing some different suff in this shortened cycle but I feel it will provide dividends next year.

Squats and Deads will be of a light nature as these technically have been going well. Just the Bench has lagged a bit, not in training but more in comp as it is sometimes hit and miss with my attempts. Need to build confidence, I am fast off the chest but have a couple of stalling points as happened at the Novice on the weekend.

For some reason the Squats today were really fast I dropped the weight to 130. Thinking it might be a tough day with no training for 6 days. But I have felt really good this week, I think the BBro like I said before took a lot out of me lesson learned.

Not trying to confuse everyone with the translation it will be pretty well the same every day.

Benching one day after benching is interesting very interesting, but the numbers were pretty good.

I Did Pin Press Pin Пресс Статические начать with a static start which was pretty good mind you the weights were lightish.

Then some Tate Press Тейт Пресс followed by some guns Рука Завитки and back extensions Вернуться расширение .

Good little 4th day workout back is tight so will see how in fares on monday.

bench went a lot better used the 50 Super Kat, got to a 2 Board which was good. The amount of Benching that I will be doing will certainly get my technique back up and running. Felt good with the new foot position. Back has been making funny sounds it may be all the other exercises that I have not done for 2 years or so, but I have really felt it.

Just did a light squat session just to keep in touch, got leg press at the end of the week have not done that for years.

Bench went a lot better today still in the 50 Super Kat, put the weight up on the last 2 work sets. Will probably stay at the 140 for 2 Boards to dial it in 1 board in a couple of weeks. Squats were nice and fast technique has just come along after the Novice Comp very happy with this aspect of my training.

Assist work is hitting areas that have not had much done to them ovet the last 18 months.

Reverse Bands (Жим лежа Обратный резиновые) were better, lowered the pin deloaded quite early, so dropped the weights from 140kgs to 132.5kgs for the top set.

Sumo Deads (Мертвые Лифт сумо) replaced lunges and went to 140kgs. Will add a rep each week to 5 then add in another set, just keeping an eye on this make sure it does not impact to much on recovery for all the Benching.

Did leg extensions for the first time bounce.gif only ever sat on this maybe did one rep to see what the fuss was all about. The only thing I can see that a leg extension is good for, is kicking some one while you are seated on a chair dunno.gif

Seated GMs were a bit of a shock remember doing double the weight back in the WSB days, still something to work on.

Setup is getting tidier each week.

In Russian it looked very interesting in English it is just all benching.

Ha ha The Gun Show, got snapped doing the Curls but they did not have a camera :clap:

Squats have gone really well this year same as the Deads I have worked hard on those. My Bench seems to have stalled mind you I have changed a few things setup shoes etc so there was always not a decent cycle to get things going right for the last few comps. This way with this cycle I get to iron out all the things I have been working on Setup etc. And hopefully with the Bands, Boards, Pins Presses and Chains their will be a good improvement to aide when I go back into a RV training cycle for 3 lifts on Feb 1st.

Thats the Theory good time over Xmas to test things when there are no comps.

Went up to 145kgs in the shirt today felt good getting the lockout sorted watched the video of the Novice Comp (Thanks Lightweight) attached below so a few things to work on there. Did not realise that I was that loose at the bottom.

Rehab before and after not logging it just standard Band Rotator stuff.

I didnt notice on the day bro but the bar drops in on the BP pretty fast too. It would be hard to keep it tight with that descent speed?

Thinking that after watching the Vid, I used a tighter shirt last year so needed to drop it fast to hit the sweet spot, may have to adjust the tempo for the looser shirt.

Everytime I do that the bastard skews off and it ends up sitting on me belly :roll: will try it in my looser shirt though and see how it goes.

Thats the problem its that last inch where the shirt wants to take you where you do not want to go lol
