Is the super kat a new shirt for you bro?

I brought it 2nd hand in Oz it is a 50 so a good training shirt and something to test with and try a few things needs a heap of weight even at a 50 size, might be next year before I comp with it.

I was more angling towards new as in training with it but I hear what your saying about needing weight even with a loosie. I feel quite at home in the fury and f6 but the super kat takes a whole lot more work so much so that I dont think Im strong enough yet to lock out what it will let me touch with :lol: :roll:

Wondered that yeah new in training and also in the line it takes and agree no where near strong enough for what it would take to touch let alone lockout. But it gets me use to a bit more weight over a long period of time.

Good day when it is just a Double Whooper 2 sessionslaughing.gif Bench was solid, had no spotters so did the Boards Solo, pretty happy with how the strength has picked up over the last 4 weeks.

Squats were nice if that is a word to describe multiple sets.

Weekly Analysis:

Squats:

Raw week this week so a chance to try things put the bar slightly higher felt good in the hole see how it works next week in Full Battle Armour.

Bench:

Raw work again I feel my set up is coming along pretty well getting quite tight from the legs to upper back. Still a work in progress. Board work has been going really well.

Deads:

Same again Raw this week, but an improvement in strength and technique.

Another good week in Iron Paradise

the line...yup. Im finding I have to cut in from about my chin to sternum. I suffer from the most terrible welts due to the looseness of the beast but I can only imagine the power a tight super kat has 8)

Hit it on the Head there Steak, have to be one strong ROBOT for a Kat

Notes:

Another long workout but happy with how it went. Squats a lot tidier than week 2. Tried the belt one notch tighter but felt a bit restricted and it shows in the 3rd set. Depth is better and hips getting accustomed to the new style.

Bench went ok only went to a 2 board will go to one next week, Board work coming along real well.

Pause Squats were good bit tough but a lot better.

Yeah Big Guy few more sessions but next week hopefully should nail all sets.

On paper looked good but doing it took a while hand position on the Squats is coming in slowly but a vast improvement from my early days, Paused Squats were very good slowly getting the hang of these.

Bench what can you say about a pyramid with 54 lifts then Boards.

Weekly Analysis:

Squats:

Best week on equipped lifts and Raw stuff in coming on to, flexibility in the shoulders is helping to bring my grip in feel more stable under load.

Bench:

Just thinking over my shirt work at the moment may drop the weight bring a looser shirt if I can fix my commercial sewing machine in time. Board work is going well solo liftoffs have improved heaps.

Deads:

Good effort this week used the loose suit straps down may put the tighter one on next week. Still about 101.5kgs so want to sand blast the last kilo and a bit off before I get into the tighter gear.

Notes:

Well a pretty long workout 2 hours 45 minutes, improved over last week. Did a couple of things a bit different on the work sets grip has come in and tried different feet width in the stance.

Bench went ok decided to drop the weight and try and get to a 1 board, felt this was a lot better shirt still tight. Board at 150kgs was ok just a bit flat.

Pause Squats were good, got good depth and I am feeling it now.
