Bench well on paper looked easy but 19 sets did not think 67.5kgs would feel like 130kgs.bench.gif

Notes:

Started to like Fridays even though today's was a step up still a good solid workout. Squats are picking up with the closer stance still adjusting. Rest up till Monday.

Weekly Analysis:

First week for a while that the Sacroiliac has not played up maybe slowly getting on top of this, it may have something to do with my closer stance while raw squatting maybe. More than likely the rehab of 3 sessions per week with The Doc.

Apart from Monday's up and down session the week ended pretty good. A couple of weeks till Skills Assessment then we will know where we are.

Seated good mornings.....any reason over standing mate?

I do these because they target the Sacroiliac more than Standing, it is part of my hip rehab but still keeping with the GMs in the programme.

But prior to this we use to do them to target the Lower Back, seated takes the Hamstrings and a % of the Glutes out of the movement. It is pretty well all lower back nasty but good.

Whats is the (B) after some lines?

I have been adding my belt (B) in a lot early in my trainings as the belt was throwing me out when I was getting to the 90% plus mark.

This week same as last week a step up in intensity on my heavy day, equipment is feeling good.

Deads were the highlight I have had issues with them mainly the Sacroiliac but this week things went really well. Hopefully I am getting on top of this.

What does Skills Eval entail mate?

Hey Steak,

Skills Assessments are done 3 weeks before a comp, the 3 lifts are done in competition order and too 95% of the 1RM that the 13 week cycle was based on. This is the first time that you go higher than 85% in 10 weeks of training, tests your ability and prepares you for week 12 where hopefully new PBs (2.5% above current 1RM) set you up for the next cycle.

"These skill assessments help the trainer to see the effectiveness of his teaching, find errors in the technique of carrying out the exercises, which will allow correcting the teaching methods and including exercise which will help to correct the error".
