Notes:

 

  • Big weekend bit too much carbs at Lone Star and still coming right from the last 2 weeks training has not been at its optimum but it should settle down now.
     
  • Squat: 180kgs for a triple, and added in a fatigue set of 170 been a while since I have done a fatigue. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 95kgs as the 90 felt pretty good, but 5kgs just slammed me. At least I know here I am now :bench:
     
  • Pull: Sumo went to 150kgs up a dime from last week speed slower that I had hoped for. 
     
  • Happy with today after everything else so I can start building and work on those two areas that are pretty weak.

  • Squat: 180kgs for a triple, was not happy with this speed was down so I decided against a another set at 180kgs and dropped to 175kgs. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 95kgs to test the waters and a drop to 90kgs. 
     
  • Pull: Sumo last week was 140kgs this week 150kgs very happy with this.
     
  • today I stepped up the intensity i need to break through that mental barrier on Bench and Deads. So the idea is push the weight up and see where we go.

  • Squat: 180kgs for a triple, last week was 170 and a fatigue set of 165 this week no fatigue as I wanted to see where 180kgs was.
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 95kgs and like the squats no drop set. This week speed was slightly faster hence the push to 95kgs.
     
  • Pull: Conventional 3rd week of this. Hit a good 150 triple so pushed it to 160kgs. 
     
  • Happy with today how it is progressing upped the ante on all 3 lifts as Monday i will be taking that up a bit too.

  • Squat: 200kgs for a triple, pretty happy with that lift speed was good so did a drop at 190. In hindsight it should have been 195kgs but it was the first time with 200kgs on the back for a while so caution was the plan. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 100kgs again and a drop set at 95kgs same as Squats should have dropped 2.5kgs instead of 5kgs I know for next time. Not as good as last week but the Heavy squat would have had something to do with that.
     
  • Pull: Sumo last week was 150kgs for 2 sets so this week decided to test the waters. Went to 160kgs pretty happy with this the best I have pulled RAW for a very long time
     
  • A very late Church session had a lot going on this morning, did not train till mid afternoon which is not ideal as members start coming in and spying want t keep the Myth theory going.:pimp:

Notes:

 

  • Fifth full week of training 5 days.
     
  • Squat: 170kgs for a triple, last week was 180kgs but that was not going to happen today as the speed was not there, so I did another set at 170kgs.
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 95kgs and a drop set to 92.5kgs. This week speed was slightly slower hence the drop set.
     
  • Pull: Conventional 3rd week of this. Came to 150 triple speed was slower than last week so as with Squats did another set at 150kgs.
     
  • Bit of a mixed day today a few things happening this week was hard to keep the mind on the job, glad for auto regulation and the Tendo. Rest up this weekend and see what Monday brings to the table.

Notes:

 

  • Squat: 200kgs for a triple, same as last week speed not as fast but more consistent. After last week I decided on a drop of 5kgs instead of 10kgs and a further drop to 190kgs. This was a good move as these were as tough as the top set. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 105kgs up 5kgs from last week and a drop set at 100kgs. 
     
  • Pull: Sumo last week was 160kgs this week decided to test the waters. Went to 170kgs average speed was a bit disappointing as the 160kgs was pretty fast will see how next week goes.
     
  • Good day today Squats were more consistent same as the Bench. I need to up the weight so to speak so that I grinding the reps. Pretty happy with Pulling 170kgs best for a very long time last time I was in a Squat Suit and about the same speed lol

  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 90kgs same as last week and did 2 drops of 87.5kgs and 85kgs.
     
  • Pull: Sumo Deads speed; 145kgs same as last week. Average speed last week was .325 mps this week it was .4366 which is where I want it 
     
  • Sumo is starting to impress me just a little bit so not getting overly excited but it could be moving in the right direction.

I had a couple of sessions with Reuben and his group last week. They seem to be following a similar template to you with training all 3 lifts 5x pw. They love it. See how the guys go at nationals.

 

interested in how you would peak it for a big meet..

Yeah RT he is doing a reduced version of what we are doing,  my guys go pretty well as the comp is far easier than the training.  The main thing is manage fatigue.  I hear you will doing a few more sessions in Tonkaville good stuff

  • Ffith full week of training 5 days.
     
  • Squat: 185kgs for a triple, last week was 170kgs bit off that day but today speed was a lot better. 
     
  • Press: Bench Press Comp Grip went to 100kgs and a drop set to 95kgs. This week speed was slightly slower but weight was up by 5kgs.
     
  • Pull: Conventional 4th week of this did a 150 triple as with Squats did another set at 150kgs. This slowed even a bit more still not fast enough to go to 160kgs
     
  • Better Friday than last week good improvement and speed was back up to where i would like it. Rest up this weekend and see what Monday brings to the table.
