  • Press: Medium Grip doing 5s on this day, just trying to get some volume on my shoulder. Will see how day 2 goes with no break and adjusts reps accordingly.
     
  • Pull: Speed Deathlifts, still at 130 will sit on this weight for a while, first reps are always slow, got better as I warmed into it but will keep an eye on the skill level.

  • Pull: GGHR got to 8s so that a good improvement.
     
  • Pull: Upper Back V Handle Lat Pulls, been a while shoulders were pretty tight.

  • Squat: 4s again today the weight went up by 20kgs on last weeks numbers. Adjusting to the new training cycle. 
     
  • Press: Standard Grip BP went to 70 got 5 last week so did 2 sets today and one drop set.
     
  • Pull: GGHR got to 8s so that a good improvement.
     
  • Pull: Upper Back V Handle Lat Pulls, been a while shoulders were pretty tight, pushed these to 6 reps and increased the weight to 50kgs.
     
  • Better all round session today, Squats felt good and the Bench has been going well. Liking the new training cycle.:clap:

  • Squat: Did Leg Press again for the fourth day on legs this week, did the sets as last week may add another set next week. Stretch is improving and moving the weight more fluid.
     
  • Press: Did standing shoulder press, this is the Medium day so reps were 5s and a better set than last week. :lifter:
     
  • Pull: Deathlifts 5 singles at 140, these went well so upped the last 5 to 150 will do the singles from here on at 150kgs. It will take a week to adjust, but I am likening how my skill has come back. There is a lot be said for light weights. After the pointer by Phedder all reps are locked out.:doh1:

  • Squat: The Trail of Tears, first day in equipment for over a year, since the Papatoetoe comp. Used the loose :rolleyessign: Centurion 46. And went back to my Metals :clap: felt pretty good surprised at how the weight felt on my back. Good start will dial,in from here may not go heavier on the weight too.
     
  • Press: Same as the Squat suit first time for a long time, right side lagged a bit but understandable. More RAW biard work needed now.

  • Pull: Deathlifts 10 singles at 150, this would be the best session I have had at 150kgs so far. Speed was constant right through to the last rep, lasy couple of sessions it has waned at around 9-10.

  • Squat: The Trail of Tears, second day in equipment. Still in the loose Centurion 46. And back in the Metals, went 10kgs up on last week still high, but just feeling my way back into the gear. Not to sure on line will give it another 2 weeks then have a good look. Weight feels ok may go to 220 and see if that makes a difference on depth.
     
  • Press: Second week in the shirt, took the board up to 3 will work on the tricep strength. Hit 140 it has been a while since I have handled this much weight, felt the wrist so will probably leave it at that to help strengthen the wrist up. Tried dips with Alf but could not put weight on the wrist, going to change my bench style,Talked with Alf and Tonka over the last couple of days will start that tomorrow.
     
  • Pull: Snatch Grip Stiff leg Deaths, after a big day this was semi tough.

Good to see you chipping away.

Just an idea concering the pull ups. I have been helping a lady up here, getting ready her 1st novice comp at some stage and when we sit down to find out what her goals etc are she noted that  one of hew goals was to be able to do BW chins/pull ups and dips.

At the start she could not do any, currently able to string 5 chins and dips together. We had some good success whit negative chins/dips... pauses in top position than negatives... to 3 poin pauses, than singles as clusters. 

Just an idea.

At the start she could not do any, currently able to string 5 chins and dips together. We had some good success whit negative chins/dips... pauses in top position than negatives... to 3 poin pauses, than singles as clusters. 

Just an idea.  

 

 

Yeah OH still plugging away, a good idea that will implement that once I can hang, wrist is still not strong enough to hold my weight, maybe I am a bit heavier too lol

  • Squat: Leg Press again for the fourth day on legs this week, did the same as last week 200kgs, no drop sets again but happy with how these are going.
     
  • Press: Did standing shoulder press, this is the Medium day so reps were 5s and dropped the middle sets out just did 3 sets. feel pretty weak at these sad :lifter:
     
  • Pull: Deathlifts 5 singles at 150, after last weeks efforts moved the weight by 10kgs to 160 got 3 good reps but the fourth was pretty slow so left it there, Usually takes a week or so to get use to the new weight.

  • Squat: The Trail of Tears, third day in equipment. Still in the loose :rolleyessign: Centurion 46. And back in the Metals, went 10kgs up on last week still high. Not to sure on line will give it another 2 weeks then have a good look. Weight feels ok will leave it at 220 and start working on depth.
     
  • Press: Third week in the shirt, still on 3 board, same numbers as last wee will not move on these for a couple of weeks. The wrist felt better so that is a good sign, did my attempt at dips again, still a weak wrist here cannot load to much.
     
  • Pull: Snatch Grip Stiff leg Deaths, after a big day this was tough.
