Notes:

  • Had a bit going on again these last few weeks, what with the CD Champs, registrations etc.
  • Have an appointment with the surgeon in a couple of weeks, in the mean time my lifting has been cut by 66.66%. No Bench and No Deadlifts, 2/3rds of my training has been taken off me.:wallbash: Need no aggravation on the wrist, giving it time to heal, and hopefully after the meeting there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. As to when I may be able to start training fully again.
  • Squats: This is the first time I have actually Squatted since November the 17th:clap::clap: well BarBell Squat that is. I am squatting with my grip just inside the collars, seems pretty unstable but at least I can Squat. Not to sure how the big guys squat like this, but for me it is a little milestone on the road back.
  • Cannot do much else but I will come up with something to occupy this log, and not make it look so lonely.

  • SSB Squats: Legs were a bit sore from Sunday's first time full BarBell Squats. Too much of a lean on the first set but tidied that up in the second. Just went to a 100 and did some works sets 4 at that weight. Just want to get re conditioned to Squattage again. :clap: :clap:
  • Reverse Hyper: Decided to add these in as part of the Pull Movement. Decided to start light today as I have not done these for a while. So just did 2 sets at 60kgs felt ok.
  • Good to do more than one exercise.

  • 3rd Day of Leg Training, if I do not get some Quad size from this then I do not know what will grow these Kauri seedlings into Tane Mahuta.
  • GCB Squats these went well for a first session back for about 3 weeks, just went to 130 and did 2 drop sets. Will look at doings 4s next week at the same weights, maybe up it by 10kgs. Again still pretty tough once the weights get up, no easy part to this lift.
  • Could not do Bench Press :crying: so did GCB Zercher's not one of my best moves especailly after GCB Squats, got to a 100kgs so some promise there.

  • Leg Press, Been a couple of weeks since I have done these so just went up to 160kgs and did 3 sets. Got a good stretch on all of them. Bit better on depth and Adductors are still in the Pain Zone.
  • No Bench, so some sort of Deadlift movement was needed. So had a brain wave GHRS, well I have not done these for a couple of years (Sheiko). It was a rude awakening only managed 4 so did 7sets. A long way from my record of 35 crying.gif
  • Good end to the first full week of training, well tomorrow could be a recovery day but may pass that.

  • SSB Squats: Legs were a lot better from Sunday's full BarBell Squats. Hmastrings were a bit tight, and the hip still tender from the Zerchers. Went to a 110 and did 2 dro sets these felt good still betless. clap.gif
  • Reverse Hyper: Lot better than last week, hip being tight made them a little bit more difficult, so only went up by 10kgs to 70kgs. These are still in as my Pull Movement.
  • Added in some Pipe work, seeing as though I cannot Bench wallbash.gifmay as well work on my Arch. Did more Band Press Downs goal is to do a 100reps for Sets.
  • Good to do more than one exercise.

  • 3rd Day of Leg Training this week, Quad size has increased a little.
  • GCB Squats: these went well for the Second session back, went to 135kgs and did 1 drop set. Will keep at the 4s for the next few weeks, maybe up it by 10kgs each week. Again still pretty tough once the weights get up, no easy part to this lift.
  • GCB Zercher's: did these last week and twinged the hip, suffering for a week. So was a bit tentative this week, was going to stop at 90kgs but it felt good and was stretching the hip. 100kgs it was.
  • Press: as there is no Benching, I have decided to to work hard on my arch, which strangely I have been doing for a while now and not much movement there wallbash.gif Hopefully the back magic will do what its name says Back magic.

Notes:

  • SSB Squats: Legs are a lot better, even after Sunday's full BarBell Squats. Coming in the hip was a bit tender and tight, so just kept an eye on it. In saying that went to 120, which was on the edge, even the drops were to0, so increased those from 5kgs to 10kgs, this was a good move. Still Belt-less :clap:
  • Reverse Hyper: Improvement on last week, but the hip was pretty tight last week. Kept the weight the same only 70kgs, :crying: just working though the motion at this stage. These are still in as my Pull Movement.
  • Instead of the Pipe moved to the Back Magic. Seems to be small increments here which is good. Did more Band Press Downs goal is to do a 100reps for Sets only 20 reps away.
  • Good to do more than one exercise in again.

  • Squats: Fourth time I have actually full Squatted since November. Still squatting with my grip just inside the collars, have only the Index and Middle finger over the Bar wrist is still to sore the hold the bar in the normal grip. 160 felt pretty good not as tough as I thought it would be, I think the SHW belt that I had on had a lot to do with it. Boomer Powah BOOM!!!!.
  • Pull: Did pinned GMs again as the pull movement, these were better than last week, still adjusting to them that is the interesting part.
  • Bench: Massive PB :clap::clap: Band Press Downs just awesome 100 reps BOOM DOOF DOOF, now for 3 Sets BOOM. PBs are hard especially with the bands, but this really motivates me to greater things. I really have to be mentally on top of my game for this, but I prepare well and do use excuses for not achieving in the Press Downs.

Notes:

  • SSB Squats: Just copied last weeks workout did not increase weight. No niggles so a better session, stomach just sore from coughing. Maybe take it up next week depending on how I feel.
  • Reverse Hyper: Same as last week, movement felt better, so more improvement to come as I adjust to this.
  • Back Magic doing this about 4 times a week should start to see something shortly. Band Press Downs hit 2 for a 100 reps again will see what I can do on the 3rd set next time up.

  • GCB Squats: Repeated last weeks session sets and reps, can go up as this was quiet comfortable at 140kgs about high 7. The fatigues were comfortable to so may make the drops around 3%.
  • GCB Zercher's: Same as above repeated last week sets and reps. May take the reps up to five over the next couple of weeks. Conditioning is improving on these.
  • Press: as there is still no Benching, working on the arch. Been on the second notch for three weeks now, shoulders just about on the bench.

  • Pull: Did pinned GMs again as the pull movement, these were better than last week, increased to 5 reps. They hit the spot well and good.
  • Bench: Just did the Back magic today, trying hard on this as I need to get more flexible in the Upper back.
