  • Deads just went up to what I did last week, but made them a lot tidier, and did 2 top sets, instead of a drop set.
  • Bench chain work had been going well, so went to 85 but put the reps at 5, did 2 drop sets. Felt a Pecclap.gif
  • SSB Squats today not pushing it, trying to get good depth, well past parallel,eureka.gif took reps to 5.

Notes:

  • Pauses are going well, wanted to do the same as last week, but just a bit more fluid. Been tweaking my Squat style, well only one tweak, seems to be ok, felt stronger in the hole which is what I want from it. Drop set was on the money.
  • Bench pin pauses, went to a 100, same as last week wanted a cleaner set of reps and got them. Drop set 95kgs was again on the money.
  • For the Pull just did some Chest Supported Rows.

  • Start of the Equipped Competition Cycle, Ist day in Competition gear. 220 was good, went to 230 that was ok, setup not the best 2 reasonable reps decided not to go for a 3rd plenty of time.
  • Bench was ok considering the Deload, used FatBoys F6. Did a sets at the 1/2 board, started to get cramp in the hammy, so just did a more tidy drop set at 125.
  • Good Start to this block

Notes:

  • Pauses went well, 140s stance was just a bit too wide, could not force knees as much. Tidied that up on the top set. Tweaking my Squat style, third week including Deload, pretty happy. Just a subtle change, but seems to be going ok, felt stronger in the hole which is what I want from it. Drop set was on the money.
  • Bench pin pauses, went to a 100, same as two weeks ago week wanted cleaner sets and reps.
  • For the Pull just did some Chest Supported Rows.

Notes:

  • The Day of Reckoning today, put a 42 Centurion on taken at least 3 years to do this. Could hardly breath my fat was hurting could not get under the bar, and a whole lot of other things. Went up in reasonable jumps, decided on 250 for a doubleeureka.gif but no went for 3 dumb,doh1.gif did a back off set at 235 that was tough stopped at 2.
  • I promise to be more understanding to the guys in tight suits.
  • Bench was better, even after the heavy squats, still in FatBoys F6. Did a three sets at 132.5 to the 1/2 board all felt good, did doubles as I was missing the line on the 3rds. Trying to get a lot more work in the 130+ area.
  • Will push the 42 for as far as I can, had nick Ts on today have Red 42 not as stretched may try that next week.

  • The Day of Reckoning II, put the 42 Centurion on again, still tough, need to get the weight down for this to work better. Could breath a lot better, fat was not hurting as much and got under the bar a bit easier. Will put this on from the beginning next week, will give me a bit more time to bead it in.
  • Will push the 42 for as far as I can, still had nick Ts NXG on today. My Red Super NXG will have to wait till I get closer to 102-103s.:situp:
  • Bench was better, even after the heavy squats, still in FatBoys F6. Did a two sets at 135 to the 1/2 board, head coming up for some reason, so on the last drop glued it to the Bench.

Notes:

  • The Day of Reckoning I3, put the 42 Centurion on again, a lot better today, put it on at 120kgs. Breathing is a lot better, fat was not hurting as much and got under the bar easier. Went up in reasonable jumps, decided on 245 doubles and did one drop set at 6%
  • Will keep on the 42 for as far as I can, washed my 44 as a backup plan. Red Super NXG will have to wait till I get closer to 102-103s.
  • Bench was better, even after the heavy squats, still in FatBoys F6. Did to the chest today, two sets at 132.5 and one drop at 130kgs. Head glued to the bench now, conscious of this.
  • Better Squat, and Better Bench.:clap:
