Equipoise

Whats everyones thoughts on Eq? It seems to get a bad rap for being weak but I like it. Slow steady lean gains with no sides it has even cleared up my acne from previous cycles? Strength/weight doesn't crash as bad when I come off either. If you want to blow the f*ck up fast its probably not the drug for you but for steady lean maintainable gains I think its worth its weight in gold. I've used 400mg eq/250 test in a cutting cycle and 400mg eq/500 test in a bulking cycle. Looking at running 600eq/500 test for my next cycle.

EQ also doesn't convert as easy as testosterone or other compounds, so if you know or feel you have an estrogen issue, it could be an option for you. Especially if your looking at running a lot of test, maybe EQ is for you.
You could just tackle the same thing with an AI, but its an option/luxury I guess.

That's the main benefit of EQ over test, other than that, test is slightly more cost effective.
Even then its hard to really quantify what the difference is or what major benefits its having.

I like the stuff, only used twice. Test+ Boldenone, and sust + boldenone+superdrol

Ive run EQ in a cut before at 500mg for 16wk It was hard to say if i saw a huge difference? however the next cycle i ran it at 750mg i def noticed improved vascularity but the downside was that shit made me hungry as could be beneficial  in a bulk for that purpose but shiet just another lot of oil to pin.

  • 2 weeks later...

I've never heard of it being weak because... well.. it's not.

Longer esters are more androgen binding which means more muscle. In fact, most top-tier pros/amateurs use EQ in offseason cycle and for the first 8-12 weeks of prep. It's not as good as test e but as Chemo said, it doesn't aromatise as badly. In saying that though, oestrogen conversion CAN be beneficial as spikes in oestrogen have been proven to increase IGF-1 levels. But that's probably for a different topic.

Equipoise is a solid compound as long as you have the patience and of course, there's some people who just don't react very well from it and are better of deca (and visa versa) because that's just their genetic make up.

Longer steroid esters are not more androgen binding. In fact esterified steroids cannot bind to the androgen receptors.

Steroid esters get split through reaction with enzymes and to a lesser extent water, spliting yields bio-available steroid molecules and carboxylic acid molecules (acetic acid, propionic acid...). The longer the carboxylic acid portion of the ester the less water soluble the esterified steroid is. The enzymes that split the ester bonds are in your bloodstream, which is a water based solution.

Some reading for the interested
