To be great natural bodybuilder you need to .... ??

Hi ppl

I recently read an article about what it takes to be a great natural bodybuilder. Some of the main one's were to stay lean year round, train with intensity all year, keep caloric intake fairly high with good quality foods, protein, protein and more protein and consistency/patience. To those of us who have been training for a while this seems obvious. To newcomers nope there is no quick fix, supplements will help but it aint gonna make you arnie overnight. From my experience consistency and honesty to yourself is key.

Another interesting point made was that many natural's see not taking gear as an insurmountable obstacle to achieving great physique's. Once this mental block is overcome trainers have seen excellent gains. The brain is a powerful thing and I think it plays a bigger role in bodybuilding than some people think. Mind over matter !

i agree............100%....... but i must say that even if you are so called "un-natural" u still need to stick to your guns....... its has to be good eating and hard training all the way .....else it really doesnt work...... and you also end up wasting your money........

for me i guess it's simple,

Eat clean, push through your mental boundries, train smart, sleep, plenty of water, and consistency will see you through!! 1 day at a time.

im still trying to work u out peter knappy dont no if your 4 real or not going by some of your comments, your names peter knappy you are a lady who is over 100kgs at 20% fat and u dont eat and use stuff all gear, have friends who only pump up once a month b4 going to discos and is making great gains, now is there anything else i need to no to make my mind up about you.

You forgot she's competed successfully on an international level.

if you competed at international level you must have a heap of photoes, any chance of sharing sum with us?

:ditto: I'd agree with that, not an unreasonible request, then we will have a better understanding of you. 8)

I would love to see how Peter Nappy looks after takng gear cycles of 3000mg a week and now trying to maintain what femininaty she has managed to hold to enter the figure class next year without eating or training!! :pfft:

You Guys have missed the point completely to be a great natural bodybuilder you need to take alot of HGH (This is a natural substance) Bioidentiacal Testosterone (also natural) and Thyriod (again natural) if you can afford it I recomend IGF1 injections 3 times daily.

Even though these compounds are naturaly occuring in the body, as is test by the way, they are still synthetic compounds.

We should also include Insulin, metformin, and Marchano groth factor.

Peter does have a point though, so called natural athletes still use a shit load of gear at the top levels
