Why not Man? Seems a shame to throw the towel in a week out after all the work you have done. Plus you've already booked everything.. Just harden up and get it done :)

The reason being I was feeling dead tired and came close a few times to falling over. Now I am just going to do the lifestyle aspect of the sport. Told my mates that I won't be doing nationals or competing anymore plus I don't give a stuff or care if nationals are on this weekend. Going to enjoy life and be normal. Ether July or August thinking of going to a warriors game since I was not able to get to one this year which sucked in a away. One thing about this I get to save money for my trip to Auckland in December . Going to bulk to 100kg but it will take a while to do but it's a good goal for me to have.

Couldn't grind it out for the last 8 days... I'm not mad, just disappointed. it's your call in the end but quitting this close to D day is pretty stupid, you've suffered and worked hard for months and then quit because you had a rough day. with it being peak week things were probably gonna get better

Before breakfast weighed myself to see what my weight was after yesterday epic cheat day had 7600 calories might try for 8000 on Saturday. Weight was 85kg and went from 81kg to 85kg. The food what I had yesterday was very nice and enjoyed every mouthfull as well. It was very nice using the toaster for the first time in a while when I was making breakfast this morning. Noticed this morning had more energy for biking to work and yesterday when I was coming back from McDonald's and having breakfast there biking up opoho road was easy to do and not as hard by having more food in me. It's nice to be normal again. Going to post up yesterday eats when I have got more time like when I get home from work. Had 7600 calories which were dam nice.

Gymrat bibby I hope you can see that everyone here just wants to help you and see you succeed, and if any of us seem angry its because we wanted to see all your hard work pay off on stage and its really sad when you just quit like that.

So please do ask for help and take advice. Many of the guys here want to see you have a go at powerlifting, and I think it might be a really good idea. Maybe you could ask wookie to coach you Im sure he would be more than happy to.

And I would be more than happy to train with you in dunedin next year maybe once a fortnight to keep you on track.

Its not though. It would be good if someone from the forum can meet him from time to time. If he dosent want to thats fine by me just putting the offer out there.
