How many competitors will be in the juniors you think?

5?? That's a guess I only know of one guy doing it and I'm assuming those going to Arnold's will jump in.. Juniors has been stacked in recent years. Will be a tough line up of they all show up but I think I can hold my own.

No training today just cardio and a deep tissue massage. Have felt pretty sick since the massage from the toxins being released etc. on a brighter note quads and arms are striated to bits and my glutes are pretty much in. Excited to pull the water and seeing what's left. Counting down the days till carb up, hoping someone will donate me an Easter egg or 2 lol.

LOL, I don't have any Easter eggs. But you can have my left over 2 trays of eggs. They are just sitting there looking pretty.

Only a week to go. Are you doing a 7 day water load, sodium manipulation, carb cycling peak? How many mgs of sodium and how much water to accommodate that? Exciting times... love this bit.. the real science of bodybuilding :)

lol no I think it's mls of water vs grams of carbs... Too dumb so carbing up on cakes and burgers. Lol

Sodium also attracts water at a much higher ratio than carbs do... if you don't take that into consideration consider your prep blown.... just sayin.

I'm gonna do something real complicated.. So complicated that nobody understands it but me.. Then blame it for my lack of condition. Easy way out :) now where's that mud cake :) :)

Phew... it's always good to apply science. If it doesn't pan out blame a fictitious medical condition, stress caused by unforeseen events or people being selfish. But whatever you do don't accept any blame yourself. Oh oh oh or politics and bad lighting ha ha ha that's the one I use.

Jearl is there a limit to your carb up? I see on your cheat days there seems to be no limit... Surely there must be a point where it will become too much?

na no limit.. The more the better. Want to eat until I feel like my skins gonna split. I stop before I can't move and want to b sick just cos it's so uncomfortable. But na the more the better

Walked into the gym today feeling zombie like.. Half asleep and felt almost out of body lol. Reminded myself I'm not the only one struggling so hard the f up and get the job done. Trained delts, triceps, abs

Db shoulder press

Lat raises

3 sets 12-15

Front raises

3 sets 10

Rear delt fly

3 sets 12-15

Lying down cable upright rows

2 sets 12-15

Tricep straight bar push downs

3 sets 8-15

Ez bar skull crushers ss ez bar close grip presses

2 sets 8/8

Over head rope ext

2 sets 10

Cable crunches

8 days out... So close.. Yet so far away lol. Carbing up in 5 days and it can't come soon enough. It's well past the point of being fun now and I just want the show to hurry up.

Ok so I have a sharp pain in the outside of my right knee. No idea what this is from but it's been a pain all day. More of an issue when walking rather than flex ion at the knee joint so hoping it will hold up ok for last leg session till show day tomorrow. It's a PT sesh with Marc so I will try train through it regardless.

Last leg session today. By far the hardest day of my prep to date and the fact that I had to somehow get myself up for legs was the icing on the cake lol...... Reminding myself that this is what it's all about and this is the part of the prep which separates the men from the boys and the lean from the shredded.

Stretching

Hack squat sets of 12, 5 set pyramid and 1x heavy set of 6

Leg press sets of 12, 3 set pyramid

Hip adductor super setted with single leg push downs on the assisted pull up machine.. 3x12

Leg extensions, 3x 12 and 1 heavy set of 6

Lying leg curled 5x12

That's ot. Not over doing it just doing enough at this point. Really had to pull this one out the bad today being in the gym was the last thing I wanted to do especially after a morning filled with PT clients. Oh well harden up only 7 days to go. Happy with how my legs looked today in particular my hamstrings from the side.
