Where did you start from?

Day 6 of our 10th birthday celebrations... and we're looking back at our beginnings. Bodybuilders, what did you used to look like? Powerlifters, what did you used to lift? We all had to start somewhere. Where did you start?

Show (or tell) us, and you could win a tasty 5-meal pack from Muscle Fuel! Here's how...

1) Like our Facebook page.
2) Post your very first Before pic in this topic, or your earliest lifting stats.

We'll draw this prize Wednesday night, so you've got a couple of days to round up those old photos. Remember, you must be in NZ to win.

I haven't got any pics of me with my top off before I started bodybuilding, was too chubby to show off back then, 107kgs at 20% BF. The pics here (left to right) are of my first show July 2012, then September 2014 and lastly end of October 2014. Stage weights in these Photos, 84kgs, 94kgs & 91kgs.

Cheers

Ryan

20yo 121kg fat as f*ck, couldnt bench 60, doctor said im fucked got insides of an old obese man. looked awful. 121kg at 176cm is just complete fat c*nt.

22yo 78kg skinny fat weak

23yo 90kg looked the same as 78kg just bigger, still weak

23.5yo 80kg quit lifting for ages, broke leg, moved country, etc

24yo  today im 98kg, look a lot better than i did at 78, filled loose skin, not lean but not fat. starting to get strong (relative to any competitive powerlifter im weak, but getting there)

long long term goal

>100kg with abs visible

270/150/300 raw in competition

I will hit these goals by the time im 30 or neck myself lol.

Had a few starting points due to having kids, but my latest (and my proudest) is in the last year. #2 son born in November 2013 (photo of me 6 months pregnant August 2013). Put on 24kg during the pregnancy, weighing in at a whopping 86kg at full term. Re-joined gym 6 weeks after having him and managed to get back to 65kg by April - at which time my husband decided he was competing in first bodybuilding comp this year and I thought - why not!? Second pic is of me day I competed in first comp (August 2014), weighing in at 54kg, 30kg down from my 'starting' point and my proud moment with a 9 month old and a 3 & 1/2 year old at home!

started around dec 2011 went from really skinny fat 50kg to really fat 60kg (super bulk mode lol!) then cut down again.. then stuck early to mid 60s for like 1-2 yrs slowly getting leaner in the process. now up to almost 70kg.. boy was i naive setting that as my goal for 1st yr lol. happy with the gains all things considered.

strength wise could have been better but i mucked around with programs a bit and there were times when i was just bulk then cut unnessarily as well as getting injured like an idiot lol. after my 1st yr of lifting, my stats was around : bench 50kg, squat 60kg, deadlift 100kg. now bench 77.5kg, squat 120kg and deadlift 150kg, next year aiming to take over the great tomlee (well atleast his 19 yr old stats anyway)

This was me at age 18. I didn't actually start training until I was 20, but my stats hadn't changed at all... 183cm (6'0") and 60kg. Ouch.

And, because I can't bear to let that Before pic go without an After, here's me in 2013.

Cheers. Although to be fair, I've had a long time to do it. Progress could certainly have been faster, and some years I think I've gone backwards - you'll notice the "After" pic is not 2014... :D

36 kgs

:o Sure it wasn't 63kg?!
