The Monday to Friday component is only 2700 per day I can only assume the the average is built up over the wekend cheat meals.

Which is why I have tried to control the week days at least!

 
isn't that ridiculously low for a guy his size? even i get in more and i don't bike around as much and way lighter lol.. no wonder eating like that he's gonna be prone to looking forward to cheat meals at end of the week. why not go out on a limb and spread some 'controlled' cheats in every couple days help get the average up without any unncessary spikes.

at gr's level i reckon this is overthinking it

imo as long as he gets adequate protein it'd be fine to just eat until full 3-4 times a day and thats it, unnecessary to complicate it any more than that

look what it's gone and done to him, rotted his brain

Even if I gave him 4000 calories a day he would still want his weekend cheat meals it is the freedom to eat whatever he wants that he craves. But is is this freedom that also sees him eating far too many simple carbohydrates as a matter of personal choice.

The calories that he gets is tied to his weight if I find he is losing weight or not making gains then I will certainly give him more. Alternatively if he puts excess weight on then he will lose some of his weekend cheat meals, he understands this and is willing to work within these restrictions.

Quads

BB squats 2x15 bar 60kg,4x15 70kg,80kg,90kg,100kg

Leg press 4x15 5pps,6pps,7pps,8pps

Bulgain squats 4x15 10kg's,12kg's,15kg's,20kg's

Leg extensions 4x15 62kg,73kg,77kg,82kg

Had a good sessions this morning and was stoked about smashing 15 reps for 100kg squats.Did bulgain squats for the first time and form and depth was good as well.By the time I got to leg extensions by quads were pumped.Was thinking I will just use modrate weight with good form as well.When I was done training quads walking was kind of fun as well including sitting down to have a shake with my cup of herbal tea as well.Just about needed a walking stick to help me to sit down or holding on to the table for extra support lol.Still looking lean still after nationals not to sure what my body fat it or weight.Should get that checked by one of my co workers.When I do get my DVD from nationals in mail the plan will be when I do watch my routine.I am going to make some good mental notes and write them down plus it will help for when I compete in Wellys in September and for nationals later on in the new year. Iam tired of being in the 80's rather be 95kg instead.

Northeastvalley Fish and chips, sugary rice pudding, Freddy Mercury laced canned tuna fish, Palms are sweaty moms spaghetti, undecided favoured muffins, hunger busters, whopper jnr/snr, gummy bears.... You know these aren't the kinds of things you wanna be shoving in that hole in your big MFing head bibby.

i couldnt care less if you eat heaps of carbs and get to 95 or 100kg at 25-30% bf. will be funny as f*ck. but i thought rebel had diet plan for you that you agreed to follow  where aim was to not get fat? its been like a few days and already you decide to not follow it lol

Can see why you went through so many trainers now lol. You dont listen and just wana do your own thing which is fair enough but why bother paying trainer or wasting trainers time if you  not gonna follow advice? Why even bother trying to do bodybuilding if you dont like and cant follow bodybuilding diet or training with full ROM?

Come on guys... Leave Gymrat alone. He's asking me to lock this topic again.

If you actually want him to open up and answer legitimate questions, then stop asking stupid ones. Yes, he possibly DOES have trouble knowing when you're serious and when you're taking the piss - but that's not his fault. Hell, some comments are so borderline, I'm not sure either.

My point is, if he thinks you're going to make fun of him, and he can't tell when that is, well of course he's going to shut down everything you say. That's a perfectly logical response. If you don't want that, don't take the piss.

 

And you all know there's only thing worse than one person giving less-than-perfect advice... and that's lots of people giving different advice. Even if you do mean well, let's not contradict Rebel (or do it in another topic). If Gymrat is in this for the long haul, Rebel's advice is going to be gradually refined anyway. She's the one putting in the time and effort - let her do it without adding to Gymrat's confusion.
