Sore knee

[Clueless]

Had to skip leg day as knee was really sore, fell over at work 4+months back and has not come right (Fell forward landed on knee cap). Is okay to walk,  just squats/leg press have pain - stairs sometimes notice it.

Where should I get it checked? Can I skip the Dr and go to someone direct?

dont need the recommendation from doctor for it i think the physio can arrange for ACC claims for first consultation you might just have to pay a small fee until its approved (which will get refunded eventually)

^ This. From what you've said, it sounds like definite ACC material, so the physio shouldn't require you to pay while the claim is being processed. There may be a small surcharge on top of what ACC will pay though - most physios seem to do this.
