need to do this for medical. have 2-6 weeks to get it down from 158 (lol) to <140

not taking any sht atm but gonna be shooting up test ASAP and on weekends usually do a few lines of speed or whatevers around

I tested mine at 168/105, so not good, I've had Losartan, Olmesartan recommended.. I've recently donated blood, so will re-test again when I get into work, to see if that theory works...

You should definitely make it a priority to bring your BP into the normal range. Especially given your experience with AAS. You may even need to consider meds like propranolol and clonidine if you can't get it down with just an ARB.

Have you ever had any of the major blood vessels (esp coronary ones) scanned or looked at for signs of atherosclerosis?

Interestingly ARBs are also postulated to be slightly anabolic/anti-catabolic (as opposed to ACE inhibitors, which are not so much).

You might want to keep the test down to a TRT dose (100-125mg/week) just for the test....

You know Amphetamine is a vasoconstrictor.. (you'd be better off orally ingesting it rather than insufflating)... just sayin..

Doesn't donating blood help lower it? Could be wrong tho.

I think it lowers the red blood cell count for a week or two, but the blood pressure comes back up within hours. Could also be wrong tho.

You are correct, donating blood doesnt do shite for high blood pressure, I tested mine at work today and its still 160/100....

Flag the beta blockers Daz if you wanna be able to train...but definitely drop the BP as it's a killer on kidneys. Cilazapril is a better option imho.

Low dose asprin is not for BP as far as I know, more applicable as preventative medicine for clot prevention to decrease stroke/heart attack risk though some studies show increased risk of heart attack.

Its kinda worrying, but I've just come off a high blast of 28 weeks which is far too long IMO.. On TRT dose now for the foreseable future, I'm hoping it should come down in the next few weeks, I'll track it each week to see if the trend is downward, if not I'll look into beta-blockers..

Cheers Nate..

Just got this from my exam paper:

Aspirin has no direct effect on blood pressure..
