Progress and Posing Help

Not bad at all, Tibbam. So you're going to be competing with Poopsie, eh?

It's hard to give you effective posing tips without seeing full body shots. But just a couple of things...
- Keep your elbows higher in the double bicep poses. You want the peak of your bicep to be slightly above your delts. It makes a nicer shape, and your bicep appears bigger.

- Try not to hunch your shoulders forward with the lat spread. You got the right idea, but keep your shoulders up. For me, it helps to think about actually rotating my shoulders back (the opposite rotation to a forward hunch)

Keep up the diet and cardio. You're doing well.

Another thing that I would suggest is when going past fast food places like Burger King ,pizza hut etc when dieting for a comp pretend there not there.

Some solid advice gymrat

If you pretend you're not there, maybe you could slip in and have a burger...

Heh, I'm trying to read between your lines to know whether I should say "Well done, congratulations!" or "That's ok, it's all about the experience..."

Biggrin

But actually both are true anyway. Did you have fun getting here?

All of the above!

Actually, thought about giving the Pans a go next year.

Joking aside, that would actually be my pick of the shows right now. It seemed to be a really supportive, fun atmosphere for competitors.

To be honest, the supportive, fun atmosphere for competitors at the CP event got me hooked and even though a year of training and adjusting to a "clean eating" lifestyle culminated in a couple of minutes on stage, it was truly worthwhile - and kinda makes you hungry for more!!!*yes3*
