So after some time and many repeat blood tests we discover that my test levels dont really get above 6.5.

saw Dr Carl Eagleton for this aand he kept pushing for another month of blod tests so in the end i held off the last one for 5 months and then did it - if the elvels dont rais after that long they are not going to move at all.

Doc wants me on Reandron and sent me a script for it - ok for a cruise i guess but i dont want that shit. im going to object on ethical grounds - i dont deal with Bayer or their products and since reandron is prepared by Bayer they will have to suggest something else. (bayer is appealing a court case in the EU that stops them from using pesicides that kill bee's its been proven but they just want more money)

what are my rights to choose my medication options?

Carl will happily give Sustanon 250 if you don't wish to use the Reandron.

Just bare in mind that what little natural test you have left will be gone completely within a few weeks if starting hrt. 6.5 is hard to live with, I know because I've been there. I actually dropped to 1.1 at which point my endo called me to check I was still alive as he put it "there are cadavers in the morgue with more test than you" ... what we don't aappreciate is how much we rely on test for Everything.

I opted for no test. I did standard pct of hcg and clomid and my levels are back at 29 (last bloods a week ago).

I've only had full shutdown twice in my life, the first time I expected it and my mid-ct sorted it within 2 hrs after which I used hcg every two weeks throughout that cycle etc. The last time was actually caused by something very different but still hcg and clomid fixed it.

good luck on your adventure and keep us posted, as everyone will benefit from it at some point.

:-)

Funnily enough for years i didnt know any better - i thought i was just a lazy fat unmotervated slug, it wasnt until i tried a bit of exogenous Test from a less than legit source that i realised how different life could be - a shopping list of quality of life improvments.

More "can do"

More confident around other blokes hard to explain but feel more equal

More assertive

More wood, more often, more driven

Body heals faster

Better marriage, wife feels happer and that i desire her instead of a general lack of interest. also the more assertive aspect comes into play where im more willing to tackle the harder conversations rather than slip into passive agressive bullshit.

All in all im going to go with it for now - that idea about using HcG for a endocrine kick start might be worthwhile - we w ere thinking about having another child but as we know the use of exogenous testosterone can significantly reduce sperm counts - i have heard that HcG can be used to increase this while on HRT

Hi half natty. ..

Yeah hcg (lh) is a good place to start (To raise natural test) but after 8 weeks is suggested that you move on to Follistim (fsh) for actual spermatogenisis (production). Ovidrel is a personal favourite as it contains LH FSH and TSH ... you feel different within hours on the shot.

FSH is crazy expensive. LH can do it on its own but it's hit and miss depending on how "shutdown" your own system is. Ovidrel is cheaper than fsh and so might be the better option.

Green Lane Clinic can help in situations such as yours but I'm not sure if it's funded.

  • 2 weeks later...

Kpat, in short yes of course, dependant on your natural test levels and your own body's requirements.

You can also continue to cycle in relative safety as long as you have the proper pct in place and possible mid-ct just to be sure.

This is the first country I've been in where people are not including some form of hcg in their pct. The long term effects of this can be quite harmful both physically and mentally.
