One girls journey to the competitive arena......

Well Sunday is done and the weight this am is 63.1 big drop for one day but lots of cardio has that effect. Aylmer has updated my caloroes to 1250 so I get back my kumara in the morning, that is something that I will thouoghly enjoy.

I am looking forward to training this afternoon as it is chest and I do not seem to struggle with this as much as others. Followed by 30 m ins of cycling which will be just a little more difficult.

Rebel are we allowed to know what uor macros are, really interested to know weather or not your allowed fats or more presiely coconut oil

best of luck with your refocus

No problem with telling the macros, now that Aylmer has asked my to use 1250 calories the macros are

Protein 179 g

Carbs 64 g

Fat 22 g

This is reasonably consistent from day to day as I really just eat the same food every day. Fats come from the salmon and chicken components of my food.

Are you going to be refeeding on the day before / during comp?

I do not know it really depends on the condition that I am in at that point in time.

If I am leand enough then a carb load is appropriate but if I am not lean enough then carb loading will not help at all.

So I guess the answer is it depends on how I go in the next 5 weeks!

Do you think the fact that you eat the same boring meals everyday (I think you described it like this) contributed to you caving in and messing up your preparation.

Perhaps if the meals were varied and not so boring you would have found it easier.

thoughts?

This may be the case but since for the first 12 weeks I ate the same meals consistently day in day out would tend to indicate that this is not the sole cause of any inconsistently.

i tend to think that after 16 weeks of considerable restriction the mind revolts, plus the increased intensity of cardio pushes one closer to the mental and physical limits.

Personally I believe that you must enjoy the food you eat when you are dieting, so if I get to a point where I no longer enjoy or get satisfied by the food I am eating then I am in trouble. This is why I discovered the egg white, Kumara, and cinnamon and enough end it so much, it provided a change in flavour.

Another really important factor in my choice of food is that it needs to be convenient either pre prepared or fast to get on the plate. When I need food I need it now! And hence I need to have it quickly or there is a problem, so my choice of meals is based around convenience and availability.

Do you use mild gear / t3 / clen etc for prep? Maybe if you do that for your next comp you could ease back on the calories, maybe have more freedom in diet?

No but I must admit right now that seems very tempting, i do not know enough about the subject to make good decisions. I would have to do research and that takes time. Maybe next year I can follow up on this it is just so hard sometimes.

The whole subject for females is so taboo, and there is little or no info on here that is applicable to females. So I must admit I am unsure where to start, or if I even should.

Would actually be a wise desision, seeing as your already pretty huge, it could get you in the right conditioning to turn pro. Tbh most of the people you compete with are probably running stuff.

Thanks GyzzBrah, I would like to think I am getting some size on me, but realisticly I have a long way to go to be able to compete with Jo Stewart, Lisa Bailey, and Sesa Tomuli.

Yes I know the people I compete against will be and one day I will have to face the question but not until I know more about it and people I can trust.

Lol gyzzbrah you such naive faggit

You are such a prick Azide, pretending to be a female, and then have the audacity to assume I am using gear, you would be well advised to take a dose of your own medicine and not be such a naive faggit yourself.

Lol whatever. Pretty sure you are using something but I've seen better physiques from natural girls so no idea if you are. Jo etc are without any doubt, and doubt they just using var and primobolan. Their choice....your choice. Just cbf reading about how ppl change their macros or start doing drop sets etc when really changes in physique from changing drugs not that shit. Fake cunts. Ironic eh?

Well I can agree with you on that, it is frustrating to try and sort out what information is relevant to training either natural or assisted.

But I guess since I never talk about drop sets or changing macros this excludes me from your net.

Realistically there are no girls on Gymnation talking about their training anyway, it's the guys that do all the discussions on drop sets etc.

yeah not meaning specifically girls. if you want info about gear use for girls id say overseas forums would be your best bet. probably good to talk to other females here who use too if you can. wouldnt rely on info from a single source ever though.

That's exciting and good luck with your new job

Thanks Gym rat, new jobs are tough at the best of times let alone when you are four weeks out from a big competition.

The job sure is a challenge but very rewarding.

financially rewarding or rewarding as in you enjoy overcoming the challenges presented?

Both, the opportunity to use all of my skills is great.

Did you warn your employers about the competion in your interview, then? Or leave it for the first day on the job?

"Thanks for taking me on. Now by the way, I'm just a few weeks out from a competition, so I'm probably going to be a bit brainless for the next month. I'm low-carb, so I might be a bit grumpy, too."

:D
