What is your daily food spend?

Just worked this out the other day, through Jan I averaged $180/wk at supermarkets so approx $25 a day. Maybe another $20-30 on some take away or a meal out. How I used to survive on under $100 a week I have no idea, student mindset probably haha.

I eat 4 x muscle fuel meals per day which costs $280. Half a bag of oats, some bananas and some stevia probably takes me up to $290 per week

Throw in 1 lavish cheat meal per week at a nice restaurant which is usually around $60.

I spend about $350 per week on food which is $50/day average

This food cost is offset by the lack of supplements I use. I prefer to use real food for my gains :)

Oh yeah, I probably should have said - my figure includes whey protein as food.

Man, some of you guys are doing well keeping the food costs down!

You have no choice being a student haha. But i get a free dinner at home so i got that going which is nice. Apart from that i buy all my food.

Usually goes

1. whey, banana, peanut sandwich. $3ish

2. oats w/milk, tinned fruit. $2

3. 425g Creamed rice $2

4. Tortellini pasta $3

5. On sale Steak/ other meat and toast $4

6 Dinner $free

7. Post work Protein shake $2

Not everyday is the same, but something like this unless i get take aways and then total cost doubles haha

One of my meals that I had in Wellys was 26 dollars which was at the Grand on Courtney Place

That's awesome, a riveting tale indeed.

Mine is so inconsistent. If I had a family and stuff it would be really drilled and calculated but at the moment I don't even do a weekly shop I probably go into the supermarket 4 times a week and buy what I feel like I hate living in routine when I don't have to.... For example what if you buy chicken for tommorow night but then tommorow you don't feel like chicken? Unless I on a tight as budget then Eff that. today was $40

you Guis like that story?
