squats

to 280x1, 265x3

 

and little bit bench after but didn't push it. Do some leg assistance tommorow. Went to whakatane today to train with the guys. Will go back again on Friday for heavy deadlifts and heavy bench press. Learnt more today which was Mint. This week is the end of my first training block for upanz nationals. I got 2 more blocks to go.

back to whakatane today.

 

deadlift

to 290 singles. Used the stuff bar today as opposed to my deadlift bar ethic was good to test my pull out on that rather.

180x3x8

 

bench press

to 160x1, 170x1, 180x0, 160x3

 

missed 180 single due to arm giving out. I think I dive bombed the bar a bit too soon actually way too soon when I look at the video but arm wasn't playing ball today. Not phased by that today. Just gonna practise that bench press.

Yeah the deadlift felt good. Be able to lock a lot more weight out with it. That probably been my weakest part of the bigger pulls where it slows right down. So the belt will make the lockouts strong. Lower back not feeling as beat up during and after the deadlifts with as opposed to without which is awesome.

 

yeah the bench I just have to get the timing right and trust in the method I have decided on. I have put thought into this and I'm all in.

Far out - I remember when we used to type our workouts into the thread and now all these vids bro?!!

 

Nice and fast on those deads ... makes me want to play again.  I got a reasonably fast triple out this week on 260kg after 2 days of no carbs :D

 

You doing UPA nats then?

yeah bro I am August 27th 100/220 weight class. Try smash my Gpc records. Can't wait.

bench

to 160x2x3

 

arms are fried mostly right arm. Not working out with bench. I left the gym there Dumbbells too sore a free aggravating on bench. Dissaponting.

 

also tonight was my last training at global fitness in mount maunganui. Ownership changing tommorow. And its not for me so cancelled my m/s and took all my equipment. So my videos will be out of a new dig from now on. Be good to be in a fresh environment and Carl the former manager has been real good to me and supported lifting anything I have asked for he been so accomodating. So new gym, new pbs!
