Haha I can see your point . Its supposed to be strength cycles though. To answer your question, no I am not currently using gear but yes I definitely have. I used it to help hold muscle after I fell off the roof and broke my heel bone. I definitely want to again in the future though but dont know anyone in the scene right now and my current company I do work for drug test all sub contractors. Although if they pick up gear I dont know.

nah they wont test for gear. just opiates, amphetamines, weed etc..class A, B, C recreational drugs

Today i found out why not to drink milk before heavy lifting, Downed 800ml of calci smart with myofusion and oats and waited 15 mins then went to the gym where i had a dose of Superpump max.  Felt ill all through my deads when i tightened my lever belt especially.

167.5kg x 5 sets of 6        ok

6th set got the ill feeling and on the first rep started dry reching all over the place.  weight was no issue though so would have completed required reps .

Today I did some shoulders.

Seated dumbell press. 20kgers x 20 reps 30kgers x 15 reps 35kgers x 3 sets of 10, 9, 8

Standing military press. 60kg x 2 sets of 10

Rear delt machine. 3 sets of 10

Side lateral raises 12.5kg db x lots

Finished with arms just to get a pump .

Shit i didnt see this post , sorry mate.   Na but my goal is to work towards entering one late this year or early next year once i get my leg strength up a bit. I want to head along and watch how one works first so i can see how they work and what im supposed to do.

 

Last day of the base cycle before ramping the weights next week .

Squats   142.5kg x 6 sets of 6. Got through it but again felt sick during the final sets . Had bacon and eggs with toast and oats and myofusion about 30 minutes before going down . Silly. Quads feel sore.

Week 5 .    Starting to ramp up the weight.

Bench press   115kg x 5 sets of 5   . First 3 sets were easy. 4th set started getting hard. 5th set i just got the last rep but wouldnt have added a 6th.  

Squats  142.5kg x 6 sets of 2 . Did in 3 or 4 mins.   Friday i do 152.5kg x 5 sets of 5

Incline smith machine press.  100kg x 10   x 8    x 6    1 min rest.

All and all happy with the bench , felt good to start going heavier again.

Did a spot of arm training today. Just concentrating on  "the pump"  bar the dips.

Dips.   bodyweight x 12 ,  added dip belt and 15kg plate x12,  added another 15kg plate x 2 sets of 12 and 10.

Cable rope overhead extension x 3 sets of 15

Reverse grip cable pushdowns x 3 sets of 10

Close grip bench    60kg x lots  for a pump

DB curls x 15kg x 3 sets of 12-15

Speed pull ups x 1 set of 15 bodyweight only

Preacher cables x 3 sets of 10    light and squeezing the bi like it owes me money.

Finished with cable pushdowns x 100 reps non stop   ( massive pump )

Cable arm curls  x 40  x 30  x 30      Arms a whopping 16.4 inches pumped lol.

Looking forward to squats tomorrow as start upping the weight.

Squats. Today I tried on my Nike Romaleo 2s for the squats.

152.5kg x 5 sets of 5 . First set I did 5 of 157.5kg by mistake . All sets were ok but wearing both the lever belt and squat shoes felt a little awkward for the first few sets. I now have Nike Romaleos , Adidas powerlifts and Adidas Adipowers all for squats and think I have a shoe fetish. Was feeling an awkward sharp pain in my right foot on the right mid way down the sole during squatting so may try the different sole inserts they supply. Have only been squatting in running shoes the last 5 weeks and had no trouble and hitting great depth so hope the shoes arent a waste of money.

Bench = 60kg x 15,  100kg x 6,  Work sets = 120kg x 4 sets of 4.

Went fairly easy , trained out of town because i was working so shot in quickly to the work sets.

DB incline bench.   35kg x 20    x 12     x10

Squats 142kg x 6 sets of 2   quick as .

 

Finished work and came to home towns gym.

Seated military press.   60kg x 15    70kg x 10    70kg x 9    70kg x 7   60kg x 10

Side delt raises  12.5kg  x 3 sets of ten  really squuezing the delt at top

Rear delt machine  x 3 sets of 10-15

Ezibar arm curl  30kg x 15    40kg x 10   45kg x 10    x10    x 8

Flat bar scott curls x 2 sets of 10

close grip pull ups   x 15    x 10    x 10

Behind head tricep rope extensions   x lots

Deads.    60kg x 10     100kg x 8    140kg x 5   180kg x 1   

Work sets = 187.5kg x 4 sets of 4 . Went really smooth although felt on the 3rd set i was hunching upper back forward a tad so took a video of 4th set and yes a little bit but to not to bad. Harder on the calluses on my hands than my body . Next week i jump to 200kg for 3 sets of 3.

Supported rows    40kg x 3 sets of 10 wide grip

Behind neck pulldowns x 3 sets of 10   unsure of weight

Cable rows   .   Light   x lots     35kg or something
