A friend of mine died today. Dave Anderson was a well known powerlifter, weightlifter, and doorman in our town for many years. His achievements within powerlifting were an inspiration to many in our younger days. He was one of the first to introduced me to weightlifting back when I started in 1978.

His use of anabolic steroids was suspected for many decades, it is believed they contributed the the cancer that eventually killed him.
