Nice one bro! I had a look exciting stuff, have u followed that template before or first time?

Done a similar one before. Mostly ended up just winging it closer to comp time though.

Well, I'll try to gain weight but if my morning weight stays under 90kg, I'll do 82.5s but if I manage to bulk to 92 or 93 by nats then I'll do 90kgs.

Switched back to conventional deads which I haven't done in ages so was quite weak. Might have to drop the weight in programming by 20kgs at least in the initial weeks until I get my conv mojo back.

Right elbow quite sore when pressing. Might do deadlifts instead of squats tomorrow to give the elbow a rest and let it recover. My deadlift needs the extra work anyway.

Did some DB incline bench yesterday, worked up to 50kg x8 then did some BB rows up to 60kg x15, for 4 sets then a bit of mucking around. Was really tired from 3am start so didn't do much.

 

Today did deadlifts

180kg x6, 2 sets

 

Lower back muscles still a little sore from Monday so didn't do too much. Thinking I may just do squats once a fortnight until nationals and do 3 deadlift workouts in a row for every squat workout. So every other week I will be doing 2 deadlift sessions per week.

 

Lying leg curls

x15, 4 sets

 

Hyperextensions

15kg x15, 3 sets

10kg x15

Got drunk again on Saturday night and my left leg fell through a floor board on the deck at the house we were drinking at. As a result my left lower outer quad was very bruised to the point it was painful to walk or bend my leg. Had a bad hangover Sunday so didn't gym and went and did bench yesterday

Was supposed to be 120 for 4 sets of 5 but was feeling weak and elbows were sore as.

 

Then did some back and chest stuff with some arms at the end and then core.

 

 

Today I did squats

Again was supposed to be 190kg for 4 sets of 5. Leg was still sore when I woke up but not that bad so decided to squat. After second set of 190kg for 5, the leg was just as sore as when I had first injured it so I stopped there. First time squatting since Rotorua comp on 7th March. Both sets were grinders.

Na, just joined up at Anytime Fitness now haha. I like to change things up every year so changed gyms.

 Also got a prospect that I'm training up. 62kg at 6ft tall, my new training partner!

Only did one top set instead of 4 because SI joints feeling sore. Mate did 60kg for 10 reps. Started him on 40kg then loaded up 60kg and he reckoned he couldn't lift 60kg lol.
