Probably that as well as the Accutane drying out my joints. Lips are permanently chapped now but will continue with 20mg/day for 4 more weeks just to clear up the skin.

 

Yesterday trained back. Trained with an old mate and ended up going pretty hard. Think we did about 20 sets of just back. Lats and rhomboids are sore today. Went in to train biceps but biceps were already sore from back workout yesterday so only did 4 sets of machine curls then did some abs then left.

 

Also decided to scrap competing in bodybuilding this year as I'm open class now and I'm nowhere near big enough to even be competitive. Maybe compete in 5 or so years when I'm 100kg lean offseason. So that means....

Did some legs on Friday just leg extensions and leg curls. Did about 10 sets of each and had some good doms over the weekend. Just did chest and tris today.

Went to ref on Saturday at GPC Bench wars in Mount Maunganui. I ended up jumping in and benching too. Opened on 140kg which was easy then jumped to 150kg which I failed halfway. Skipped my 3rd attempt. Weighed in at 89.2kg. Reffed Hamish's 212.5kg bench which was a smooth lift. Awesome weight. Also Wayne Bennett benched 210kg.

 

Went and trained at Global Gym afterwards but I was feeling weak as. 120kg I only got 3 reps then 8 on 100kg. My right shoulder was hurting and the weights were just feeling really heavy.

 

Back is still playing up. Think the back and shoulder issues have flared up due to me using isotretinoin. Gonna play it safe and not do anything heavy for next 4 weeks until the isotretinoin wears off (stopped taking it 2 weeks ago). Hopefully by then I'll be right and good to get back into heavy training.

What was bench at the mount like? Good crowd watching and pulling lots of interest?

Yeah it was a good vibe. It was a bit of a closed area though without a lot of foot traffic so not the biggest crowd but definitely the right idea. The sun was intense though haha. Reffing was tough in the sun.

Wanted 6 sets but 3rd set almost failed on last rep so left it. Also right shoulder was hurting. Considering I was doing 120 for 9 reps last year and did 120 for 6 sets of 5 my strength has dropped quite a bit lol

Got absolutely trashed on Saturday night for a mate's 20th then went to work hungover as f*ck. Got yesterday, today and tomorrow off so good to sleep in and just recover.

 

Trained back and bis last night, got a pretty good pump and felt nice and strong which I haven't felt in a while.

 

Today I did some chest. Had some impingement in right shoulder when benching with 60kg so flared elbows out a little bit and touched a bit higher on tip of sternum instead on 1 inch below and that took care of the pain.

Pretty sure that's a rep PB at 140kg. I've done 140kg for three paused reps previously which I would guess is pretty similar to doing 1 paused rep plus 3 Tng. 100kg warmups were just exploding off the chest so I knew I was gonna be able to rep 140kg out and I was stoked to get 4 reps. Last week I was struggling with 4 reps on 120kg lol.

Changed cycle to 750mg test e and 750mg EQ per week pinning MWF. Each time I've tried low test I get so fucking weak it's a joke. I did low test for the last 2 months to get rid of my gyno which has subsided (still got lumps tho) so now it's back on the high test buzz. Back still fucked though

I find on test only I lose gyno even if Its 1g test. Its when I take orals (suspect amadrol is main culprit) and/or tren/npp that it gets sensitive and lumps grow again

Yeah I found mine flared up when I was taking deca and tren together. Not sure about orals though, seems to be ok as long as I take some aromasin.

Pretty easy. First two were speed reps then last 3 were a bit slower but not grinders. Pretty happy considering haven't squatted heavy since november last year. Should be able to at least hit 275 again in a months time at gpc rotorua. Back pump was real but no pain

Ye what. Lol last week I could only get one set of 5 then a set of 4 on 120. Felt so much stronger this week. Although they were touch and go's today to be fair. RIght shoulder feeling a bit achey though.
