88kgs bodyweight. Pretty happy with bench rep PB tonight. I was wanting to hit 10 reps but 9th rep was a grinder so I didn't go for it. Got 220kg squat for max reps with knee wraps on tomorrow. I did 2 reps without wraps last week. Back in January I got 8 reps with 2.5m knee wraps so aiming to get 10 reps tomorrow. Just gonna use my 2m THP knee wraps.

Pretty shit. Was dog tired after work so decided not to go gym and just sleep. Woke up after a couple hours and told myself to toughen up and went. I got 5 reps on 220, uploaded vid on Facey. 4th and 5th rep was a little slow but I can usually get 3 or 4 more reps after things start slowing down. So I think I could've got at least 8 reps today if I wanted to grind it out but I just didn't feel like it. I've got a few niggles at the moment, right knee is feeling dodgy, right groin also feels dodgy when standing up and right wrist is pretty inflamed too.

Used clean hand position for these which makes it a lot harder for me cos I can't stay upright as much. Only did 5 reps cos I didn't feel like pushing myself.

what you doing bout injuries?

Chur bo. Nothing really apart from not pushing myself too hard and trying not to do anything to aggravate it. I skipped deadlift day two weeks ago when it was a little worse but flared up again after doing sumo deads last Thursday. I think I might just do conventional deads this week cos I think the groin issue is from doing sumos.

wont fix it as that's Impossible while you still training hard.. Fix is for after ur comp. But will manage it and stop it from getting worse during the lead up. That's what I doing for my AC joint. Except I missed today's appt so he try charge me $60 so I prob just never go back again lol and find another one.

Taking a deload week this week. After my shit trains last week, I deduced that I must be overtrained as I felt tired and had several niggles all over my body. So haven't trained since Saturday and went in today for a light full body workout.

Power belly alright. Measured my waist around the belly button and it was 34 inches!!! f*ck me!! I remember last year when starting cut at 88kg last year it was 34 but got down to 29 or 30 when I stepped on stage

I'll just say it's all from thicker lumbar muscles :D haha

It's just less stress on my back and thought that I should get better potential since it utilises legs more which are my strong point. In any case, I'm giving it a good go. Not convinced that it's a lot more advantageous than conventional for me but I still like it

Rotator cuffs felt fucked afterwards so I didn't do much. Won't be doing barbell shoulder presses again for a while, just wanted to see how much I could do. I'm pretty happy with what I got considering I almost never do them because they kill my rotator cuffs.
