Had a long day at work and diet has been shit for the last few days. Lower back was fatigued and 180kg felt like my max. Couldn't even do 5 reps on the second set. Right SI joint was also bothering me a little bit.

Skipped gym yesterday so did both Hams and Chest/tris today. Chest still a little sore from Tuesday night

130kg x6. Went for a 7th and was stuck just before lockout for about 5 seconds at rack height so I just racked it. Lucky I got it up that far though cos I had no spotter. 130kg x7 would've been a PB so pretty happy especially considering only got 110 for 8 on Tuesday lol.

Did some oly lifting today. I've played around with C&J before but never done any snatches. Tried them for the first time today.

Did quite a few sets on 40kg for both lifts just to get technique down. Ended up going up to 100kg on the cj. Technique is pretty bad so was harder than it should be. I can't seem to get the timing of the clean right and the bar is coming down when I catch it. Tried 110kg but sacked it twice pulling it off the ground.

Went up to 60kg on the snatch for a few reps which was easy. Again just muscled up with no technique. Keen to work on these every Saturday to build explosiveness and coordination.

I dunno if I'm doing GPC Nats. I got GPA worlds which is 4 weeks after which is my main focus. I'm pretty tempted to do it though. Sounds like it will be mean comp with tons of strong lifters.

I'll see how my training is going and decide closer to the time.

I'll be there either way spotting loading if I don't compete
