Sorry!

This site is in read-only mode right now. You can browse all our old topics (and there's a lot of them) but you won't be able to add to them.

What's happened to Old Favourites..?

I don't believe they have posted on the new site, their knowledge will be missed...

yeah actually it is wierd. they are also pretty vocal people so if they just didnt like the new site theyd probably come on and post why not.. maybe they just got lost with password reset procedure? lol

btw who are you from the old site? dont recall that name.. how do we know you are not in fact one or all of the mentioned missing persons?

Yeah, there's a few good members that we're missing. And not just the three mentioned above.

My hunch is that for a few people, visiting NZBB was just something they did out of habit. The disruption from the switchover, and the hassle from the password reset, maybe meant they questioned whether they really needed to spend so much time here. (But clearly the correct answer is YES)

It's a real shame, because now we're positioned to offer much more, and there's a whole lot of extra features to come.

So hopefully we can entice these guys back soon. :(

To clarify. When it comes to the reset procedure it works fine to get a reset link sent to the account's associated email address. It works fine to login using this one time login. However when it comes to actually resetting the password (ie entering it twice to confirm and hitting 'save') it returns an error message regarding the username.

Ie to login a temporary one time password reset link must be obtained and used every single time.
