Chest today

Pec Dec

310lbs 3 sets of 10 reps

Felt nice and strong today. Kept back and did the whole lot with my chest as much as possible.

Decline Hammer Strength

4pps 3 sets 10,8,6

Really squeezed the reps on the second and third sets, took a few reps away from me... but worth it!

- Did heaps more sets at 3pps doing a single drop to 2pps after the above. Really exhausted my chest here before I moved on.

Hammer Strength Shoulder Presses

2.5pps 1 set of 8

2pps 3 sets of 10

Wasn't able to really load this up after all that chest work. Felt really good though, nice reps. My forearms looked insane with all the veins popping out as I was starting the presses. Yeeha!!!

Pec Dec

Drop from 220lbs. 5 sets of 15 reps, 1 slab down at a time down with 30 seconds rest between sets.

Did Abs superset with Pressups for a while and then left the gym while I was feeling tops. Great feeling workout today... totally boss.

I just saw that Shutupandsquat can Squat more than I can... so I'm a bit hesitant to log my workout! Bastard 11 reps on 180kg aye?! I've only ever got 10. Fuark!

Legs

Was pressed for time today. Only at the last minute I decided to do a workout.

Warmed up on a plate loaded Squat machine to 6 plates per side.

Squatted 140kg for 3 sets of 12 reps

Went back to the plate loaded Squat machine and filled it up by going one plate up at a time from 6 plates per side, up to 12 plates per side (or so?).

Went to Lying Hamstring Curls. Warmed up through the stack (somewhere around 95kg I think it is with the dial turned up) until I got to Full Stack. Did one set there and moved on.

Seated Calves. Worked at 4.5 plates, which felt quite heavy today after all the above. Did quite a few sets when unloading the machine.

That was legs for me for today! Left the gym feeling really good again! What's up with that?! Usually I train myself into the ground! It's a good change.

So far today I haven't done a workout! Might just grit my teeth and hit the gym tonight tho and cane arms to hell! Gotta go in to town again anyway to sort some stuff out.

Hmmm... 50/50 at the moment. Would really like to get a workout out of the way so I can take Sat and Sun off without feeling bad about myself.

Gonna rape the 40kg hammer curls if I go tonight tho.. don't feel that strong right now, but I know I'll hit it better than last week.

Lol at my thought process.

Ended up doing arms yesterday morning

Did 15 rep sets up the stack on the Seated Preacher Curl Machine. Up to 100lbs. 10 real strict reps at 100lbs felt hard and had me ready to move on to the next exercise which was Hammer Curls up the rack. Both Arms simultaneously. It went like this:

15kg 10

20kg 10

25kg 10

30kg 10

35kg 10

40kg 3 sets of 8. This felt bloody heavy but I'm getting the hang of it.

Over at the 40kg DB's is where the preacher curl thing is with the EZ-bar. So I loaded the EZ-bar up and worked Standing EZ-Bar curls in-between sets of Hammer Curls. The Hammer curls continued as so:

35kg 2 sets of 10

30kg 2 sets of 10

25kg 2 sets of 10

With the Standing EZ-Bar curls I ended up working at 60kg, where I did 3 sets. Did 2 sets with 50kg after to make 3 total as I had done one on the way up, and also 2 sets with 40kg for the same reason. So, a total of 9 sets here.

Lastly I went and did seated curls on the Seated Cable Curl machine. Worked at 42kg this week. I'll keep this as the last exercise for a couple of months coming I think and inch the weight used up every week.

So, basically I just trained biceps. Later that day I had to drop in to Auckland Uni Gym to see a mate... did a short tricep workout there. Kept it short on purpose. Last week I was hoping to bump my chest exercises up a bit but I was sick.. this week I'm feeling quite a lot better so I'll be ramping Chest up as hard as I can - I think I can do 4.5 or 5pps on the decline hammer strength machine for good reps if I come at it fresh and full enough. Also shoulder presses on the hammer machines... hoping to work at 3.5pps soon on them, push upwards to 4pps by the end of the year.

Ramping things back up again here.

The goal is currently to push my exercises into new territory while maintaining a good solid base to my workouts, and hopefully get some solid gains along with the process!

I've re-arranged my split like so:

Shoulders

Back

Chest

Legs

Arms

Today I trained Shoulders

Dumb Bell Side Lateral Raises

Up the rack doing 10 rep sets. Starting at 8kg. Shoulders felt nice and solid today so I instantly knew I'd have a good workout.

20kg 10

25kg 5 here's the push. not too bad reps!

22.5kg 3 sets of 8

20kg 10

Barbell Front Raises

30kg 10

35kg 10

40kg 10

45kg 3 sets of 10

There's no heavier pre-weighted barbells. I just focused on a solid movement and slowing it down where it matters. Felt great, actually felt quite easy today.

Bent Over Rear Delt Flyes

20kg 3 sets of 10

Did a couple of sets with the 15 and 17.5kg DB's to feel my way into it too.

Hammer Strength Military Press

I fucken put the Military into this one today! 100%

Warmed up over several sets.

3pps 2 reps ... I just stopped there and was like, hmmm, that's way too fucken easy! I need more today...

4pps 4 reps Nice unforced reps. Next one would have been forced tho!

3.5pps 3 sets of 8 reps.

3pps 10 reps

2pps 2 sets of 10 reps (shit all rest between them)

That was shoulders. Without a doubt the most fun shoulder workout I've ever had! Today I was bulling like a motherfucker. Holy hell. Yeeha!

Strained a hamstring on my right leg today doing seated rows! Stupid me... I didn't warm up properly... just went wham, wham, wham... full stack 140kg... and then ouch after a few reps! It's a bit sore walking around... hopefully it's not bruised tomorrow! *fingers crossed*

A good reminder to curb my enthusiasm for training!

what happened, did he break any NZBB rules?

Because it states quite clearly here under NZBB rules:

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “NZ Bodybuilding” is hosted or International Law.

So unless his abuse violated a law in some country....he's allowed to be as abusive as he likes, I thought that was why he is still around after all these years of posting crap  pls aware

PM'd you describing the picture he posted. It was pretty obscene... I wonder what goes through his mind and whether it was a picture from his travels there. Remember all the other stuff he got up to... threw a hired scooter in a ditch and just left it there or something?

I guess that's why he didn't get banned! No idea what goes through his mind Android. It was completely unprovoked. I guess he feels threatened by me in some way? He does seem like quite a repressed individual.

Dunno what he said etc BUT this forum is kinda boring without him and with Harry, Soundsgood, MuscleNZ not posting anymore it has become dull.

He just posted some pic that shouldn't be in my journal

I kind of agree... Tom did make good posts. He'll be back though I guess.

Maybe not if it was this that got him banned.

4gunz come at me bro

Trained Chest this evening

Loaded up the pec deck machine today... usual full stack work sets with 310lbs. 3rd set 3rd Rep in... snap... the band in the machine broke.

Wasn't me! Why can't people engineer things properly. :(

Moved on to Decline Hammer Strength Presses

1pps 20-30

2pps 10

3pps 10

4pps 10

5pps 2 yea buddy no more space left for more plates

4pps 3 x 8 nice reps

3pps 2 x 8

2pps 2 x 8

You're not alone in wondering, IDW.

We didn't ban him for that photo (although potentially we might have)... I think it was the other way around. He knew a ban was coming anyway, so with his last post he left something for you to remember him by. You should be honoured he thinks so much of you, IDW. :P

Hehehe cheeky!

Trained Legs today

My pulled hamstring felt 95% good today, yesterday I was shuffling around and today I was in good enough condition to jog (if I had wanted to... which I don't!). Still, didn't do any direct hamstring work... gotta be careful!

45 Degree Leg Press Today

This was the appetizer and main course. Slowly warmed up doing 10-15 rep sets until both sides were completely full. There I did 3 sets of 10 reps. Was pretty hard work. I'd have filled up the pin on top as well if my hamstrings weren't twinging a bit at 12pps. Quads felt nice and solid!

Next up I went to seated Leg Extensions

I just worked at half-stack today, doing 10-20 rep sets... about 5 in total. Nice and sedately, calming myself down from the crazy leg pressing.

Finally to finish Quads off was Plated Loaded Squat Presses

I loaded up 7 plates per side here and did 3 sets of 10 really deep reps, focusing on working my quads and keeping my feet flat on the platform (sometimes they roll if I'm not careful and that fucks the load distribution up and hurts my knees).

Then on to Calves. For Calves I did Standing Calf Raises

8 sets of 130kg. Doing 15-20 reps per set... really just focusing on getting a great workload rather than going super heavy.

I had wanted to do a few sets of Seated Calf Raises after this but there was a group of people just chatting to the guy on it! Grr, don't ya hate when that happens?! Ah well.

Didn't break any equipment today! Yay.

Trained Biceps today

Seated Cable Curls

50kg 3 sets of 8

DB Hammer Curls

40kg DB's for 3 sets of 8. This is getting easier. Yea buddy!

Standing EZ-Bar Curls

60kg 3 sets of 10

50kg 4 sets of 10

40kg 6 sets of 10

Also did some Triceps between sets of the EZ-Bar Curls. V-bar handle attachment cable press-downs. Up to full stack. Just got a really good pump and made them work a bit. Not killing them too much because I want to really push hard with Shoulder Presses on Monday!

First workout of the week tonight!

Decided to do legs! I'll go light on upper-body for the rest of the week, and then back in to it next week.

Trained late evening and the gym was packed as!

All the Squat Racks were taken and had people waiting... so I decided to grab the 45degree Leg Press and hog it for as long as I could.

45degree Leg Press

Warmed up with 1pps, then I went up 1-2 plates per side at a time doing 10 reps per set up until it was full (apart from the top loader pin, which I hate using because it's a bitch taking the plates off). I did two sets at the top and then came back down doing 10 rep sets at first up till about 20-30 reps on the last set at 3 plates per side. Quads were worked as!

Lying Hamstring Curls

Slowly up the stack until full stack, about 95kg. Hamstrings were a little icky feeling at first but once they had warmed up it was all good. Did 4 sets at full stack and a drop at the end. After that I did one more set at 3/4 stack with another drop. Hamstrings were nicely worked!

Seated Calf Raises

Here I jumped in at 3plates where I did a couple of sets, and then up to 4 plates where I did 3 sets. Finished off with 3 more sets at 3 plates.

Felt like I was doing a penguin shuffle walking back to the locker rooms... damn I was walking slow.

Then when I got to the stairs... I thought to myself:

My tendons have been giving me problems these last two weeks. It's coming up close to 4 weeks on a tren cruise. First three weeks saw my enthusiasm and strength rise dramatically. First workout of the third week my biceps tendon got strained doing dumb bell side raises with the 25kg db's, then the next day my hamstring tendon got strained quite bad doing seated rows and now this week on legs a hamstring on the other side is sore. Lucky they haven't been serious injuries... enough to put a dampener on my workouts tho. Ah well live and learn. Probably should have ran some npp alongside the tren to help cushion the heavy workloads.

This week I've hit the gym three times. Too busy with work and stuff first half of the week... and my biceps tendon was not in a good state to work hard. Legs on Wednesday evening which was a nice and strong workout, Calves and Abs on Friday... just mucking around as I'm giving upper body a rest.

And then today I did Back:

Warmed up on the unilateral Lat Pull Down. Just did sets up the stack getting a good feeling for the contraction... while watching the Lat Pulldown station... as soon as the guy moved on from there I pounced on it.

Lat Pulldowns

WideGrip

Worked up the stack... got to about 190lbs for 10 reps. My injured biceps tendon was giving me arseholes a bit so I dropped it to 175lbs and did about 6 sets of 10 there. Was feeling a bit down at this point, felt like I couldn't really declare war on the weights!! Been doing up over 100kg for worksets a couple of weeks ago.

GloseGrip

Jumped up to 190lbs. Did 6 sets there and then sets down the stack for several more sets just to add to the workload a bit.

Seated Row Machine

Worked up to full stack which is abt 120kg on the stack. Did one arm at a time. Four sets of 10 reps for each arm. Really dug in here, used straps and gave the machine death.

Dumb Bell Rows

3 sets for each arm of 10 reps with the 62kg dumb-bells

Would have liked to do deadlifts but not really a good idea with a sore hammy tendon. Ah well next week if all is go I'll deadlift and rackpull hard.

Tomorrow is off! Then back into the normal schedule. Shoulders on Monday!

Oh.. and I've finished with T3. Don't think I was strict enough to get much out of it. Was great with the appetite increase lol. If only it didn't just burn everything away and make me feel not so not-tight in the gym it'd be great! I've got a feel for the stuff now tho... so when I do plan for a comp one day I'll be able to use it right. I'll likely have another mini recomp in a few months. Appetite has been a bit down since dropping it tho. To counteract the low T3 levels I'll have for the next several weeks I'm cycling a little clen, a few days on then a few off... just to keep the edge.

Was meant to be a rest day today... but decided to train shoulders and triceps

Dumb Bell Side Raises

20kg for 3 sets of 12

Dumb Bell Front Raises

20kg for 3 sets of 10-20

Last set I turned on freak mode and dug in hard. Felt like I could have done another but decided that I'd done the work needed and moved on...

Hammer Strength Shoulder Presses

3pps for 3 sets of 10

Wasn't up for 4pps today like last week... oh well... next week!

Rope Pushdowns

Down the stack till 100lbs. Doing 10 reps per set.

V-Bar Pushdowns

Down to full stack. Doing 10-15 reps at full stack. Did about 5 sets there, until I couldn't get a good 10 repper.

Seated Dip Machine

Worked at full stack for 5 sets of 10-15 reps

After this I did Abs for 20 minutes.

I did an odd combination of deadlifts and legs followed by abs then shrugs today. lol

Deadlifts

1pps 15

2pps 10

3pps 5

4pps 5

5pps 5

6pps 3

6.5pps fail lol

45 Degree Leg Presses

I wasn't sure I'd perform today, first few warm up sets had me thinking my legs were weak, but all was okay.

I did a big pyramid up until the machine was full, and then down again until 3pps were left. Doing 10 reps per set.

Hamstring Curls

I had planned on working up to full stack and doing a few sets there. But I canned that idea at 3/4 stack. Did 3 sets there today. The previous exercises, especially deadlifts, had already worked my hammys pretty well - I was starting to feel the exercise in my tendons rather than muscles!

Seated Calf Raises

Worked at 5 plates for 3 sets. Did a few sets with 4 plates and a few more with 3 plates after.

Abs

Here I did four different exercises. 3 sets for each. About 20 minutes all up.

Hammer Strength Shrugs

6plates per side for 3 sets of 12. Felt the traps working hard.

Cardio for 15 minutes after this. Felt pretty exhausted, but I'm okay now. \:D/
