Also following your progress with interest leeroid, very detailed. Doesnt seem to be much getting away from the bloat, I have the same problem, but like you say I think you just have to live with it.

Sounds like that shoulder needs a bit of rest, altho staying away from training for a week while on cycle is easier said then done *biggrin*

Leeroid Iam interested to know how much protein you will be consumming on your cut. i.ve been told you need to up it by about 100grams a day. For me that would be a total of 350 per day, which is alot.

What do you drop from you diet to cut?

My maintenance calories are currently about 3500. I will be dropping my daily calorie intake to 2800 for the first two weeks and macro ratio will be 40c/40p/20f. Which will mean 290g of carbs, 280g of protein and 60g of fats a day.

Did 10 sets of biceps and about 15 minutes of abs today.

Gonna be changing the way I weigh myself. I'm going to be using the scales at home from now on and weigh myself as soon as I wake up after going to the bathroom rather than using the gym scales which can be any time of the day.

88.1kgs this morning.

Triceps and calves

Cable pushdowns

x15, 15, 15, 12

Skullcrushers EZ bar

5kg per side x15, 3 sets

Reverse grip cable pushdowns

x15, 3 sets

Seated calf raises

x20, 5 sets

Standing calf raises

x12, 3 sets

20 minutes stretching

88.4kgs bodyweight.

Twinged my left Achilles tendon on the standing calf raise so I stopped. I've decided to use very light weights, even lighter than before and doing really strict slow reps with a pause at the top which I find gives me a far better burn. Rep range is also higher now, mostly 12-20 which will increase my time under tension.

Leeroid I do 8 sets, 30 sec rest on standing calf, first few sets are lite. Reps 15-20, normally leave this to my last exercise so I can just burn in out. I have crap calfs, not from lack of trying. Just one of those tall calfless guys.

About a year ago I snapped my achilles [sprinting] took a long long dam time to heal, would feel great then I.d walk to fast and bam. The pain has really only gone away since I started Test. Hopping this helped the healing speed up somewhat.

Morning weight was 88.7kgs. Stopped dbol yesterday and started cutting diet today. Basically its 6 eggs, 900g rice, 600g chicken and 300g mixed veges divided into 4 meals. 2700 Cals. Also had orange and one nut bar today because I was so hungry lol. Will take a while for body to adjust from 4k+ calories. Gear wise just gonna do 500 test to maintain muscle.

Back on the 18th November you started a 1st cycle consisting of:

Testosterone enanthate 500mg/week, pinned Sunday/Wednesday for 8 and a half weeks (17 shots)

Unsure as to whether you have stopped 2nd cycle, or just trying to loose some bloat? After starting your first cycle on 500mg/week with all the appreciable gain/growth you would expect.. Do you now believe you need 500mg to maintain muscle, just because you've dropped calories (whilst keeping protein reasonably high).?

Not sure of your question, but I interpreted as you asking whether I'm cruising?

I'm still on, doing a cut as I'm looking to compete in my first bodybuilding comp in September. After that I will come off completely for at least 12 weeks and recover.

Interesting log Leeroid. Seen my PM?

Ah yes, will reply now

Skullcrushers EZ bar superset with pushups

5kg each side x25, pushups x10

5kg each side x18, pushups x10 (5 min break, had a chat)

5kg each side x20, pushups x10

5kg each side x18, pushups x10

Reverse grip cable pushdowns superset with regular grip pushdowns

(Reverse x15, regular x10) x5 sets

Abs 10 mins

Stretching 10 mins

87.6kgs this morning. Went very light on tricep exercises to get high reps. Burn was intense and pump was pretty good too. Expecting to be sore tomorrow.

Pretty hungry all day. Cutting is a lot harder than bulking srs. I've programmed myself to eat to bursting point and then more for the last two years so now that my stomach is only half full it's quite a challenge.

Have you thought of taking some type of appetite suppressant. I never enjoyed trying to cut haha. A couple of ideas here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/top-5-appetite-suppressing-ingredients.html

As your 1st cycle consisted of 500mg Test, do you now believe you still need 500mg Test to: Quote " hold on to muscle"..?

Do you not think 250-350mg might sufice..?

Thinking back to what Sifo and others used to retain muscle, who were all much heavier.....

Hopefully I won't need anything to hold onto muscle as ill find out when I do come off lol. But wanting to gain as I'm cutting too if that's at all possible

Don't think that's possible in a calorie defecit, I'd think you need to hold on and define what you've got, have you considered adding winstrol at some point.?

I've got 1000mgs of Winny on hand which I'm thinking of using in the last few weeks. Would it make a significant difference if I did?

Thats what a lot recommend, you'll be doing clen too I hope..?

Well I don't really want to as I'm not really keen on the sides. I should be able to become lean enough without the thermogenics as long as diet is spot on but I have a few bottles of clen on hand I bought ages ago

So I just got back my blood test results.

Total testosterone came in at 53.4nmol/L (reference range 9-30)

Oestradiol was 255pmol/L (reference range <170)

What do you guys think?

I remember when you first posted, I was going to answer but somehow got side-tracked and forgot about it..

I've been in the Path-Lab today and remembered the last meeting with my doctor to discuss previous results: From memory it was stated: The blood test for Testosterone is looking to detect how close your blood levels are to accepted low-mid-high ranges.. IE: somewhere between (8.8-36.7 nmol/l) or if your levels show slightly lower or higher.. The upper reference range stops at about 56> at our lab, as they are not interested in, nor do they expect levels to exceed anywhere near 56 or over, so they put a capping limit on their test of 56> (the > shows it is higher than)

My last test came in at 55.5>, I initially thought I'd been underdosed, but after further discussion it was explained that the > showed it was at a level over 55.5, but not measured above because its not expected to be..
